USA Run Capacitor 15 UF - 15 MFD 370 VAC Round

This went out on Memorial Day weekend and I replaced the bad one and ordered more. Works great.

Ever need a start cap in the dead heat of summer..... and pay a tech who will be out in a few days ..... and he changes a start cap for an exorbitant amount of money... WELL in his defense,,, you were hot,, and he had the CAP... so pay up... Or have a spare!

Our furnace blower motor was really struggling to come on, humming a lot and taking quite a while to spin up. One day smelled electrical smell and blower wouldn't come on. Watched/read some things that suggested should check this part first, especially because the blower fan spins freely (if it didn't spin freely almost def need new blower motor apparently?). I searched for 43-21298-43 replacement and this popped up, was cheap and figured would try it first and if nothing else have someone replace blower. All in all its pretty easy to replace, although was a tight fit and I had no idea what i was doing so still took me 20-30min. There's videos out there if you do a quick search. Blower now starts right up now with no struggle, and turns out when the current furnace was installed, they used old capacitor rather than putting in a new one, the capacitor was over 18yrs old! Time will tell, so far so good.

I have an HVAC guy who after testing to determine capacitor was getting weak knew that I could swap this out. His cost would have been $169. He even pulled the part up on Amazon and texted me the screenshot. This may be rare so I feel lucky.Literally took < 15 minutes from start to finish. Was fortunate that this capacitor was the exact circumference as old one. Just be careful to turn off the power to blower and discharge capacitor properly or you will know it the hard way...
