I don’t know if I somehow missed it in the description (I don’t think I did) but the fact that this required a damn heat gun, which I’d never used before, what a colossal pain in the ass. Honestly. I bought it to apply inside a dollhouse I was building. It practically ruined the damn thing. If you are cool with heat application and difficult material to work with, moderately overpriced and incredibly difficult to pattern match, go for it. For me, it sucked.

The material of this product I can not even explain...It is like really slick, almost like a hard plastic, but thin, and it was like brittle, it literally cracked when I was trying to even out the first piece. I got it patched up and it looked ok, but when I went to go cut the second piece, as I was pulling the back off, it ripped (or should I say cracked) where I had the paper and the backing folded. This is not my first time working with pre-stick wall paper, so I am telling you, I havenever experienced this before. It is too bad, because it was really pretty, but too hard to work with. I think I am going to go with a tile...

It is very shiny, much more so than I expected, but it does look great. I wonder how durable it will be, but I love the look right now.

Not good to use as a backsplash, hard to hang, did not stick to a clean wall and very thin and shiny. I ripped it down the next day and installed tiles

I bought several rolls of this for a room it was very hard to put up all the rolls were different and didn't match and it and didnr stay on wall !

Despite other negative reviews I purchased this item based on features that were advantageous, such as durability and precise positioning. This product is extremely adhesive to itself, but not to a painted metal surface that was sanded and cleaned. Warming it up with a heat gun only partially aids the process. You do need to spray the surface with an aerosol adhesive for proper adhesion. The material is brittle and cracked when bent over an edge that was not a sharp, but about a quarter inch round unless heated in order to make it more flexible. That same brittleness likely means that the surface stands up to harsher usage. Applying the proper amount of heat is more of an art than a science. Too warm and the surface wrinkles. These remain in place and cannot be ironed out. Despite my best effort I ended up with a third rate job that if done for a customer rather than for myself would have been rejected. In fairness, I will say that I do not know how it compares to similar products, not having tried any of the others. I will not say that I would never purchase this product again, but instead am aware of its characteristics when considering it for a project and after trying the others may come back to it.

This was so easy to put on. I refaced my countertop and what a difference. Looks like a brand new kitchen.
