Definitely not safe for an infant
I liked the price, but quality is subpar and the part the baby sits in is just a cloth sling which seemed very flimsy and as baby grew it would definitely fall out!

DON’T BUY THIS SWING!
I bought one of these swings back in December. I waited three weeks for it to come and I finally had to cancel the order and re-order it because they said it was lost somewhere. So I ordered a new one and it came about a week and a half ago. We put our seven month old granddaughter, who is roughly 17 pounds into the swing and buckled her in. Oh my goodness… this could have been a tragedy, but we stayed right beside her as we began to swing her on the back of the swing fully collapsed. The baby fell backwards, but was still held by her lap belt. What is this manufacturer thinking releasing such a swing whose back cannot be locked into place to secure the infant safely??? I’m going to try and return it but I don’t know if they’ll allow it.

It’ll do
I’ve used this swing for about 3 months, and as my baby has grown and began to have stronger kicks, the stitching has had a hard time keeping up with her. As the picture shows, the bottom stitched area at her feet has come apart and the fabric frayed. Not sure how long the seat will last, especially as she gets heavier (she’s around 20 lbs) and gets more active (almost 6 months). On the positive, it’s lightweight, doesn’t eat batteries constantly, has a nice selection of speeds/music, and transports from room to room easily. If you’re looking for a bargain swing that you won’t use much, especially if you baby wear, it’ll work just fine. If you think you’ll need to use the swing often, probably spend a bit more to get a nicer one.

Not strong enough to support baby's weight
The hinge mechanism on the back of the swing is not firm enough to support the weight of our (lightweight) 3-month old baby, let alone a 9-month old as the product details claim. After just a few minutes of swinging, the back of the swing is leaning all the way back, and our baby is practically upside down on the foreswing.

Good value for cost of swing
This was easy to put together and works well. The only thing I don’t like is that it comes with a power cord but no power box to put the cord into so that it can be plugged in. Looking for one has been confusing. Would’ve been really awesome to have the ability to plug it in instead of relying on batteries for every use.
