The Nespresso VertuoLine system as a whole is great. Among the systems that offer zero-effort brewing and near zero-effort maintenance, this is the system that produces the best-tasting coffee. By comparison, the wildly successful Keurig coffee tastes like brown water.I currently have three VertuoLine flavors in my daily rotation. This one "Giornio" is the lightest roast. Even so, the intensity of the flavor is remarkable. I usually bomb it with a generous amount of milk, and the coffee flavor stands up bravely to this attack.I have no complaints about Giornio coffee in particular. Regarding the entire VertuoLine system, you should be aware that the coffee pods are only available from Nespresso. Since there is no competition, the cost is fairly high. You can do the math yourself, just take Amazon's price and divide by 30. On the plus side, Nespresso does provide a terrific variety of coffee flavors to choose from, and three different serving sizes. If you care about flavor, give this system a try.

Each pod has a capacity before the beans get burned and you get a burnt black coffee flavor. These two cups are from the same pod, same run! I just stopped filling the cup on the right when I noticed the color of the coffee coming out of the machine turn dark. The cup on the left tastes disgusting, because the hot water ran over the beans in the pod for too long. The cup on the right is delicious and creamy, because it didn't use too much water! Don't put too much water in the back of your Nespresso machine, or just remove your cup and put an empty one under once you notice the coffee color change from gold to black in the pouring stream. Great flavors, great packaging, but a little bit overpriced in my opinion. Wish they sold them at a discount at Costco or Walmart. I may purchase another brand machine in the future just for cost issues with these coffee pods. The only reason I got one of these Nespresso machines was the high rating it received from Consumer Reports. But the coffee is tasty.

I've only tried one cup of this flavor, as I purchased it for my dad. I prefer another strength myself. But my father really enjoys how smooth this particular pod is. Package came quickly and the price is so fair. Roughly $1 per cup, can't get a cup of coffee this good anywhere for that price.

If you're a Nespresso, you can't go wrong here. I bought a Nespresso for Christmas, and I am hooked. This happens to be the flavor I love. But, you really need to try a few to figure out which one you'll love. I bought the 30 pack because it is ridiculous to buy 10 at a time when that'll be gone pretty fast. Plus, you can't beat the price for 30. Seriously.Don't try to use other pods or knock offs. There is not generic for the VertuoLine. These are authentic Nespresso brand pods. And, this is the best price you'll find them for. I'm loving it.

Not to be dramatic, but I about died and went to heaven when I had my first sip of Giornio! I ordered these and they came in about three days later, along with a few other flavors. I mixed this one with almond milk from the frother, and sometimes I add a splash of sugar free vanilla Torani sweetener. Instantly cures my coffee craving and makes my day all the better!!

If you are a fan of “normal” strength coffee, these will work for you. I prefer the strength and taste of Stormio, but my wife is partial to regular strength coffee like a medium or breakfast blend roast. Has a good mellow flavor that isn’t overpowering.
