Great lightsaber that sleeps too quickly
Got this for some fun at Halloween parties and I have to say I'm impressed. The build quality on mine was excellent and everything worked exactly as advertised. The blade is smooth with a gentle taper making it easy to slide into and out of a hitch I made for it on my belt. I could easily carry the sword all day and barely even notice that it's there. It has enough balance that if I do want to spin it or duel, it doesn't feel awkward like other play swords I've used. The one thing I do wish is that it would stay in "light sleep" much longer than it does. It looks like it automatically moves from "light sleep" to "deep sleep" after about three minutes, which led to a few times where I tried to draw and activate it from my belt only to end up standing there awkwardly giving it the four second wake-up command. Even when I tried to pre-wake it, I'd end up talking to my friends for longer than three minutes and still get caught by "deep sleep" mode.Despite the sleep timer issue, I still had a lot of fun with this lightsaber and I'm glad it's in my collection.

If only you knew the power of the dark side
This has virtually everything you're going to want in a dueling lightsaber; it's well constructed, good sound FX, good light FX, easy to change color and sound and it holds a charge for a good long while. My only serious quibble with it is that it doesn't have the "twist to turn off" and then "ignite on motion" most other high-quality and high-price sabers have on their standby modes. Oddly enough, it also has a "dark ages" setting which creates actual metal sword sound FX, which is just bizarre.

Love it!
I am actually impressed by the product. It works beautifully. The holding and tapping on the button takes a moment to get, but once you do, no problem with changing light color and sounds. The blade takes a good hit with out any problems. Fantastic for it's price point. The hilt is all aluminum, right down to the end cap. Extremely satisfied.

Decent but no sound
The media could not be loaded. This saber was good out of the box. Charged it first time and it was awesome. It changed colors to my preference, it had the light up, go down, swinging sound effects but after the 2nd charge, it stopped making all sounds. Nothing. I read the manual, tried resetting, recharging and nothing. Sound is dead. Haven’t even used it more than a day and no sound. It looks good, and feels great but lack of sound effects (which it had day 1) is highly disappointing.

Works well, but no instructions
While this does look good and feels quite sturdy, it was very confusing on how to actually use it since there were no instructions included. I ended up having to youtube a tutorial showing where the device charges as well as how to actually turn it on. The video I watched wasn't the same exact model so it was a bit off, and I am still slightly confused on how exactly to turn the different modes on.It seems that you have to hold the button for a few seconds, but if you hold it for too short or too long it does not do anything. Additionally there's different combinations you can do to do different effects but again it's kind of hit and miss on how to do it

Good Saber Blade But Packaging
This light saber is definitely for adults due to the blade size. The hilt has a unique shape which makes it different than others on Amazon. The saber works like most. In the instructions state to hold the button for a certain amount of seconds to cycle through options but what you really need to do is look at the button led and count the amount it blinks. In order to charge you have to open up the hilt body and plug in the cable. My biggest concern with this saber is the way it comes packaged. The only thing inside the box besides the blade, hilt, screws and manual is a thin bubble wrap for hilt. This means your saber may come damaged or blade scratched up from the hilt bouncing all over the inside of the box with no addition protection. For a Saber at this price range it should be better protected.Thank you for taking the time to read my review and photos of this product. I hope it has been helpful in providing you with more information.

I like it, but Darth Kitta was not impressed
The media could not be loaded. Initial impression out of the box is it is well-made and should last a long time. The "blade" is a thick plastic and the hilt is solid -metal -heavy. I feels legit. It has a good balance while swinging it. I don't recommend full on dueling, but simulated duels will work great.I charged it up overnight (18650 battery uses USB-C to charge) and tested it out the next day. There is a learning curve to the single control button but after figuring out it blinks for each second, it was much easier to configure. There are a lot of different colors and they are bright. I like the Mace Windu purple and my daughter prefers Darth Vader red. They look pretty good in low light and indoors, but hard to see in full sunlight as expected. They swoosh sound and clang is awesome. The sound it makes when you put it to "sleep" is also really cool. The reason I deduct 1 star is the battery that came with it will not hold a charge. It charged overnight twice and would shut off after about 30 seconds of use. I tried taking it out and charging it in my battery charger and it shows charged, but obviously is only holding a very small charge. I took my own 18650 battery and installed it and it works fine.I almost deducted anoth star for the price - yeah, I got it as a promo for an honest review and part of that is looking at the price. If I had to buy it, I think $99 is too much for what it is, especially since I just had to replace the battery. But, I realize I'm "thrifty" and some may feel $99 is a fair price. I'll leave that up to you.Overall, it is a pretty cool toy and would be fun for cosplay. May the Force be with you.
