We had custom made crate covers for years. Our dog is much older and we moved him into a larger crate so he could stretch out more now that he spends more time sleeping. I didn’t want to spend the same amount on a custom cover. So many of the crate covers have a plastic lining which is not breathable. This crate cover is soft, breathable and a neutral color. It has two “doors” for stagecoach crates. The only downside is that the material is thinner than the ones we had that were custom made, but for a fraction of the cost of custom, that is something I can definitely live with.

I am happy that this will fit over the crate easily, it is flimsy for the price and the strings don't have a place to go so you have to tuck them under the crate bed so that they don't get snagged or get dirty. This makes the crate more like a den for our dog and she likes to put herself to bed in it when she gets sleepy. My crate has two doors, for the price it would be nice if there were side slits to accommodate a crate that opens from the side. Also I want to use this for dog shows, I need to attach my crate to a dolly to transport my dog around the ring/arena/fairgrounds etc so it would be nice if this had slits for that or extra strings to roll up and tie the side. I will probably make some alterations to fit my needs to this very simple design. I am guessing that most people will like the simplicity if the crate is just going in a home or vehicle but for me it would be nice to have options. I am glad to have this over the crate when we travel to block the sun as we live in the Southeast and it's nice knowing that this gives my dog shade while traveling

I love the crate cover and the material it’s made of however, I was disappointed that there are no ties in the back. I had to turn the crate on its side, tuck the back end under and secure the back corners with elastic garters that are used on some fitted bedding sheets. For that, I gave 4 stars.

My puppy is in her destructive phase. She tried to tear this one apart but for some reason hasn’t been able to. We bought the pink one and it’s soft and it’s a breathable material so I don’t feel like she’s too hot in her crate.

This is a nice product to cover those wire/metal crates. It makes their crate feel more like a little cave for them, while still being breathable, since this is made of cotton. I would buy it again. It’s made well. Color is what I expected.

This makes his crate look a lot less cage like and gives him some good darkness when he needs it. I have a few problems with this product. First of all, it is poorly constructed. The ties are missing from one side and doubled on another and I don’t feel that this is any way that that was purposeful. The zippers can catch the fabric too sometimes.If I close the cover at all, he gets way too hot because the fabric is too heavy. I also get the sense that leaving it closed for a bit does not allow air to circulate and I did one night and I think he was really struggling to breathe by morning, so I won’t ever do that again. Overall, I think it is good for the price, but you definitely can’t close it with the dog inside.

We have a 145lb cane Corso that sheds like you wouldn’t believe and we got so tired of hair being everywhere in our dining room, so my wife found this crate cover and let me tell you not only does it keep shedding to a minimal area it helps him sleep I know he told me… but In all seriousness it’s a very convenient purchase and we love it.

Appears easy to wipe clean

This cover fit perfectly and the colour was true to the photos. It needed a good ironing to look best. I would have liked a heavier, more crate- darkening fabric, but all in all excellent for the price.

I bought the wrong size (it really pays to read the sign on your crate that gives you the size). It is well-constructed and has ties to attach it to the crate - unlike the smaller one - that I really needed - which does not have the ties. Regardless of which size it provides a 'cave' for your pet to quietly relax in.

I like it. I should have looked for one that had two openings to fit my crate that has that flexibility. The dog loves to chase the ribbon that attaches the cover to the crate though.
