The media could not be loaded.  First attempt at “playing” with them. Driving was awesome, mostly. The went down pretty well with downward pressure. No problemo…1)The issue is removing them. Perhaps my ground is too soft with rain, but I found I needed an upward pull to get them to “drive” out. The damage to the shaft was me trying to do that. I have ideas about this and will let you know how I figure it out…2) The little 14mm nut driver they send you did the damage to the top. It’s not really cheap, just too shallow. A 14 mm deep set worked surprisingly better.Overall, I think they will be great holders. No damage to welds and seem like pretty solid steel.

Tried a different stake to anchor small trees but they failed. This stake is anchoring my trees just fine.

Had to use iMac drill to install and even then couldn't get flush with the ground. Looks tacky but if it holds. ..

Was easy to install, did have to use a hammer drill to install so that may be an issue for someone who doesn't have one. They dug in good and have held fast even with all the high winds we've had. We installed these to hold down a carport we just installed. Very happy with this product, done exactly what it was expected to do!

I felt compelled to review this item after reading several negative reviews. These worked great for my storage shed. They went in fairly easily using a Craftsman 20v impact driver and my ground was relatively hard. Not sure why others were having a problem with this. Though I haven't had any wind issues yet, I'm pretty sure these will hold in most winds short of a tornado. I highly recommend them.

Way to weak for what I needed them for, too short... Return was very easy no hassles.

The stakes are fully welded and have a great design. I should have gotten 24" as these 18's do seem short for my large shed. Would have given 5 stars but the socket broke. This left my project half done until I find another socket. I would buy again though.
