This is an awesome product! I bought 2 just to give the 2nd one to the first person (my nephew) who was excited about it as I was! I've been missing TT (Table Tennis, NOT Ping Pong, said the GS (Game Snob)) since I sold my table for space reasons and this brought back 95% of what I enjoy about the game: quick games (I grew up playing to 21, playing to 11 was a great change!), competitive & fun, any table still allows great shots, good workout (you'll sweat!) and super quick set up. On my way less than regulation table, the regulation paddle ("bat" said the GS) was too much oomph...on a whim, we switched to small hardcover books and the result was amazing! The books covers' absorbed a bit of the hit and it slowed the game play and rebound off the book to a very manageable level and still allowed spin, english, slams, etc. In fact, I rather enjoyed the many different ways you can use a book to hit a TT ball. It is a DIFFERENT overall experience to play with books on a dining room table, but with both players using the same parameters, it's as fun as any "real" game I've ever played from the standpoint of super-fun, competitive gameplay. I'd suggest you use 40mm balls, as they also slow things down a bit. I also found the orange balls I had to be a bit hard to see on my oak table, so I'm going to get more white ones. And the cost is so affordable, you too can get several and hand them out and make HTTCs (Hack Table Tennis Converts!)

We be ping ponging! This fit easily on our dining room table even though our table has a very deep lip and oddly shaped lip. Folks who complained that the net height was not standard and got in the way of play confuse me. We are not competitive table tennis players and know nothing about standard play, but we find nothing wrong with the net height. We just learned to play with what we have. Another reviewer recommended the orange balls, and we have found that those balls work well with our table, not bounding too wildly. We ordered this net along with the Pro-Spin Ping Pong Paddles set of 4 paddles, which has several orange and also the white balls. This is an excellent combo. We highly recommend them to everybody.

The ping pong net works great! My only complaint is the chemical smell. I recommend putting it outside to air out the smell. Other than that, it's a great net. Thepaddles are pretty good.

Our son has been begging for a ping pong table for forever but we just don’t have the space. We have a rather large gaming table, slightly smaller than a normal ping pong table, in our basement though that this fits perfectly on. I like that it’s removable for easy storage and he can put it together himself whenever he wants to play. It’s actually become a really big hit when we have friends and family over. The two paddles seem well made but the balls were dented and broken within a week or two of purchase. Thankfully I had bought a big box of balls at the same time so we have plenty of extras to replace them with.

This is so much fun! We have an 8ft island and it connects to the countertop perfectly. The net stays in place, it doesn’t droop anywhere. It folds up nicely so you can store it away in a drawer. Such a fun thing to have if you have the space.

This net is a cheap knock-off product. It's not very strong at all and tends to loosen over time with no way to strengthen it. I'd give it a 2 star rating, but we took it on a road trip one year for vacation and it was a great way to have a pop-up ping-pong game on any table that worked, so three stars it is.

My son and I have a very nice time playing pingpong with this set. The net is good quality and we didn't have any trouble setting it up. The net is retractable and we didn't have any trouble with the mechanism. I think the paddles will last a long time as long as they aren't abused. You can use this set on various widths and thicknesses of tables so you have a lot of options for play.
