Weyderk 12-Blade Wood Stove Fan, Non Electric Fireplace Fan with Thermometer, Eco Wood Stove Fan Heat Powered for Wood Burning Stove/Gas/Pellet/Log/Propane

My husband and I recently purchased a wood stove at our new home. Unbeknownst, we each purchased a heat powered wood stove fan. Comparably, this fan is more effective. It has more blades and seems to push the air more effectively; my husband agrees.Glad we purchased this.

This little fan sure helps to spread the heat around , I had my doubts but trust me it works great .

Purchased this for my fireplace incase the power goes off and I need the air pushed around. Bought the product and within a month it no longer worked.It sits on top of your fireplace and when your fireplace is hot, the fans automatically turn on. I could not feel the heat being pushed out into the room at all. You did feel air moving at about the 8-12” mark.After a short few weeks, the fan b bearings seemed to fail. The fan would just make a high pitched squeal when on. I only used my fireplace in the evenings for about 6-8 hrs. After the bearings failed, the fan would no longer turn on or work even if I manually spun the blades trying to get the fan to turn on.

The media could not be loaded.  We have an old wood stove in a 20x24 wood shop. The building is metal so quite chilly in mornings. No question this little fan got the air moving and helped warm the shop faster. The flow isn’t going to blow your hair back, but it definitely gets a decent draft off the wood stove. The hotter your stove, the faster the fan.

Heavy duty little fan. Seems to work great. Very quiet operation thus far.

When the wood stove heats up this fan starts blowing the warm air out. We are simple people and find it neat how it works without electricity or battery power.

If you want to play around with your money, that’s fine but if you’re looking for a fan that helps move the air this is not for you. This is more for aesthetics that’s about it, it does not really move any air. It just looks cool…

I was worried about this little fan being able to move the hot air around, but it has done a great job so far. I have used it on two different heat sources, one propane heater and the other a firebox. Obviously it kicked into gear quicker sitting directly on the wood burning firebox, but even sitting above the propane heater it has done a great job. The only thing I could consider a negative, not the fan's fault, is that it seems to be very delicate. It will take me great care of this item to not destroy its blade balance. Hopefully this will be an item, in a world of more and more disposable products, I can use for a long time before having to replace it!
