Very handy to have
Would have given it 4 stars but it was missing the two longer screws. Otherwise it works great.

I used on the exterior
This is really designed to be used from the backside of hose bib coming from the crawl space or basement. I have neither, so I used it on the exterior. Function great, aesthetics not. But it is now rock solid.

Worked good but missing half the screws..
Update: I was sent a replacement that had all of the screws within a couple days of marking the item as missing parts. Still a bit annoying that I have to go to a return center to send the old one back. But I'm overall happy with this product and would recommend to others. Only thing I noticed is the screws bent as I was tightening it down probably because they're like brass. but that's better than them just snapping! Just beware not to tighten them too much. It helps if you have one person outside to keep the hose bib straight.Old post: I ordered two... one of then worked great. The other one is completely missing the two smaller screws, so it's useless to me!. Really frustrating..

Firmly holding freeze resistant faucet.
Replaced existing poorly installed hose bib with a freeze resistant one. This holds on to the body of the faucet and pulls it firmly towards the brick outer wall so the faucet doesn't move. Need access to inside wall of faucet.

Good concept but needs better screws
These work well for their intended purpose, but they need to use a different type of screw, either hex head or Allen or Torx socket.I recently had to replace some outdoor faucets. that had become leaky. Also the original faucets were attached to the outside brick wall with a couple of mortar screws, which eventually became loose. Turning the water on and off was frustrating because the whole valve would twist a little. When I replaced the faucets I used these anchors to hold the faucets snug against the outside wall. With a plastic spacer behind the flange of the faucet there is enough friction that I don't need any screws at all into the brick to hold the faucets in place. The drawback to the anchors is the screws. They are Phillips head and so you need a screwdriver to turn them, which means you need the space to get in with a screwdriver and push down on it to keep it in the recess. That's pretty much impossible when working through a 6"x9" hole in the sheetrock which is what I had to do.So the obvious and simple solution is to use some replacement screws that have a hex head. Then I could use a wrench on it from the side. The only problem is that the threads are metric. I had to go the go to the hardware store and their specialty fastener area to find compatible screws, which is more expensive than finding some regular screws in my junk drawer. So four stars for overall concept, minus one star for the screws.
