I am so impressed with this little light. It dims super low and the light is so pleasant. There's a lovely frosting which is a fabulous light diffuser. I'm going to use this as an accent light on my desk when we're not out camping. Great value, well designed.

For its size, this lamp throws quite a bit of light without being blinding. I have another camping light that is just too bright for use inside a tent that's even as big as my 8-man tent. This light quality isn't harsh even on its cool white setting.The on/off button also cycles through cold white/warm white/natural white/red settings. The cold white is very illuminating while the warm goes quite a bit towards yellow, and the natural is a softer version of the cold setting. All three white settings are dimmable. Dimming/brightening can be stepped through 10 levels by clicking or can smoothly dim/brighten by holding down the buttons. The red setting cannot be dimmed. I found that the light settings (cold/warm/natural/red + brightness level) are remembered if you power off the lamp.The color can be selected by clicking the C button, which will cause it to smoothly cycle through the color spectrum. Another click sets the color. Unfortunately, clicking the C button always starts from the same color, so you have to cycle through all the colors again if you wanted to say go to a slightly darker blue from cyan. It would be nice if this setting was stored. To be honest, I'm not sure how often I would use this feature when camping -- maybe if I'm using it at home for some other purpose.The hook is nice for hanging the lamp inside the tent if yours has a loop for that. Otherwise, it also works sitting on the floor or table with the light facing upward. The magnet works well enough, but I find it to be a bit on the weak side compared to my other camping lamp. I have accidentally knocked this one off of the rail holding up the shelf above my 3D printer, whereas my other lamp attaches with an authoritative "clunk" and has been knocked but simply shifts its position without falling.The battery life is very good. I tested it by setting it to cold white at the brightest level, and it stayed on for about 10 hours. That should be sufficient for at least 2 nights of camping. My son will be able to validate that on his next campout with Scouts.There is a Type-A USB port for using this as a power bank to charge things like your phone or other low-power electronic devices. There is a Type-C USB port for charging, and the light will work even if it's plugged in for charging. Oddly enough, many lamps do not, so this is a nice feature. Finally, there is an SOS button, which will turn the light red and flash SOS in morse code, which is a nice safety feature, which hopefully will remain unnecessary.Overall, I really like this lamp and still give it 5 stars even with the color selection restarting and a magnet that I wish was stronger.

This is a nice small little tent light that has a great battery life. It can hang or mount just about anywhere or even just be set on a table for light. It can easily light up a tent, but don’t expect it to light a whole room. The color feature is nice & could be set on a table on a back deck for nice mood lighting. It’s honestly a great little light to have given that it’s super light & lasts a good while.

This is a nice light it charges quickly and is made of good material. Not flimsy or cheap. This would make great Christmas gifts for family members who camp.

What a fantastic little camp light! I have found this to be quite versatile both inside and outside our tent and camper. It has a strong folding hook on the underside (with a spring-loaded retainer clip!) so that you can suspend it from the ceiling or a line (it's light enough that a tent has no problem supporting it) but you can also just set it down on its base and it will still provide great illumination due to the soft, diffused light.There are so many different modes and light colors available. 3 different shades of white, plus every color of the rainbow, plus an automatic smooth cycling through all the colors. You can also adjust the intensity of the light, so if you want it to be bright for reading, dim for a nightlight, or medium intensity for all-night campsite decoration without being blinding, the choice is yours. For my photos I set it for roughly 20% intensity so that the camera wouldn't get washed-out due to overexposure.It has a huge 8400ma battery inside, so it can double as a phone charger if you forgot your USB cable. It does come with a USB cable to allow you to recharge the light, but I found that it will run all night long without completely discharging itself.Overall, this light is better than I expected it to be. It is very well built and does its job of providing camping light very well. I want to order a few more to really decorate our campsite next time we go out! The only negative I found with this light so far is that it's not designed for easy access to replace the battery should it ever go bad. I have no idea what size battery is in it, but if it ever dies I will try to disassemble the light and replace the lithium-ion battery.
