My daughter wants warm lunches from home at school. Tried another thermos and it didn’t keep food warm, so now I use that one for work. Got this and sent kid off to school. Well, apparently she was unable to open it. No teacher could open it either! Finally the lunch lady ran it under cold water and was able to get it open. Her Mac and cheese was still warm but she didn’t have enough time to eat it all and is scared to bring it to school. So I guess I get this one too! She is sticking to sandwiches at this point.

I was looking for a stainless steel low and wide food jar that would keep food hot and wouldn't experience chipping or peeling. This is it! It's sturdy, perfect for soup/chili, not so narrow or high where you feel like you're digging for your food (like many other thermal containers), and looks great! I've only ever hand-washed it, but it's easy to clean. The green color is as pictured and so pretty in real life! This is also a good size that would work for either kids or adults.

So when I first got this thermos it was good and all and held the temperature pretty well but h is one day when I brought soup for lunch it leaked and I found out because when lunch was over I had a few spoons of soup left and tried to close it but it didn’t close, I turned the lid but it just went a full 360 on and on like it never ended never closed. A okay size but i think it’s overpriced for the bad quality. The paint scratches off easily
