Wupper Airlines Wooden Hanging Mobile (Windwheel, blue)

These are really nicely done items, made by a sheltered workshop! But one and you WILL NOT be disappointed!

We love this mobile! We would absolutely recommend it to family and friends, but it isn't absolutely fool proof. We bought this for my 2 year old son and when he pulls the cord down he isn't always pulling straight down. When pulled on the side the string that causes the windmill to spin can come off. It is a simple fix, but because of this I would say this mobile is for slightly older children.Pros:- colourful, fun, and captivating- came with an extra long wire for hanging from the ceiling that was easily trimmed for a perfect height- has handled some mistreatment without any permanent harm- the folks at Wupper were very kind and helpful as we had some ordering issues regarding stockCons:- not great for really young kids unless they are naturally careful with their things

First introduced to Whupper airlines while on California vacation. Quirky and fun, they remind me of something I could have seen in Babes in Toyland or in Mr. Roger's land of make believe. Also gives a nod to the Wright brothers. Just makes me 😁

We love the whimsical charm of our Wupper! The one we bought doesn't have a name on the box, but it's a little green house with yellow wings, a man with a helmet flying it, and a toilet on the back. However, it has a VERY long spring. Any suggestions on how to successfully shorten the spring? We have 8 ft ceilings and our wupper hangs to the floor. We don't know if shortening the spring will change how the wupper bounces. If the spring can be shortened without affecting function, then we'll be in business :)
