Danica Studio Doormat, Coir Rope

UPDATE:I have discovered that the first mat I got was inauthentic / a counterfeit, shipped directly from China. It was a third party seller who direct shipped it to me; this seller must have been the featured one on the product page at the time, probably because of its very low price. After visiting Danica Studio's website, I was convinced that the small business owners there would never produce such a shoddy product. I contacted them directly, and they apologized and even offered to ship me a new mat free of charge - even though this was Amazon's fault. I declined however, and bought one off of the official Amazon seller instead (for double the price, $33 vs. $14). I wanted this small business to get my money, and felt bad for them that they have to deal with these fakes. I have now received the real mat, and have some updated pictures attached. It is quite nice - you can see the difference very clearly.The first seller's name I bought from was TUIAI MEI - avoid these 3rd party sellers like the plague, and be careful who exactly you buy from for anything on Amazon!Original review:The picture makes this very misleading. The image shows a stitched rug, but it is indeed more like a bath mat like others have said, with the design printed on top. The print quality is pixelated and the dimensions are off (the wheels are ovals, not circles). There are even low-res, fuzzy print elements trying to make the mat look like it has white-colored pile, but it just ends up looking bad. Take a good look and compare between their doctored(?) image, and mine.I guess I should have known based on the price, but sometimes it's hard to tell because Amazon's prices are so low and I got suckered in by the hipster word, "bespoke". If I knew what I was getting, I'd give this 2 stars, but given the dishonesty, it gets 1.

I love this doormat. It's the second one I got to replace an old one that I had for at least 5 years. Just needed an update - and I couldn't find another mat which "spoke" to me as this "Bespoke" mat. :)

This is a great mat. Nice and thick. Love the braid. People have commented on how much they like it.

Photos do it Justice, this is BEAUTIFUL!! Even after being in the rain, it held up well. It’s absolutely gorgeous in person, even better than the photos on Amazon or than my terrible camera is capturing. You won’t regret touting this product!

Way better than what I was expecting! It's thick and the perfect size on our front porch for our single family home.
