I have always kept Chemically activated hand and body warmers because my wife feels cold quickly when the temps go down doing activity outside. I never purchased a rechargeable heater because I have a bit of prejudice about them that they do not heat up fast enough and they don't last long. but this battery heater has changed my view. I will be getting these types of heaters from now on. This particular heater heated up to 110 F degrees within 40 seconds. It literally starts to heat up a second or so after you hit the button. I had it sitting on my desk for about 4 and a 1/2 hours and it started to cool down but kept the temp all along. I only had it set at the lowest level thinking that it could melt my desk if I set it on highest setting. The lowest setting was hot enough for me. It may have lasted longer if I had it in my pocket I think. I live in So Cal and it is still hot here so I did not want to overheat . I am now sold on battery powered hand warmers. This heater works great!

If your using this as a gift, its very unlikely it will be damaged in shipping.It comes with a small charge, so i let it charge up to 100% before any testing or activating the heating element. To charge is an included cable that is USB-A to USB-C with the battery bank using only USB-C. There is an included adapter to convert the USB-A to USB-C so you can charge via either or. This is a nice touch and i think a fair middle ground (most devices should be pushing to typeC so this is a nice compromise between older and newer devices that might need a charge.After charging the unit up i was able to turn on the heat, and it gets very hot (in a good way) Wont burn your hands but i can easily see this being thrown in a jacket pocket etc. and keeping hands nice and warm.The charging ability is nice. It wont fast charge your device, but will provide the full 5W and about 1000aH charge as detected on my phones app. It does fluctuate, but ive seen this many times in favor of protecting the battery.With a modern smart phone, you can get a single charge.I see no Con's in this device. it heats like advertised, and it charges with decent speed, and protection against the battery.

Great little handwarmer! Last week, I went to a high school football game where the wind was whipping around, and my hands froze in the 40-degree temperatures! My body was warm with my jacket, but my hands couldn't stay warm with all the clapping and cheering. That evening, I pulled out my phone and ordered this hand warmer. It arrived, and I tested it out the next night, and it is fantastic!!!!It charged up quickly (about 90 minutes) and is super easy to use. Long 2-3 second hold, and it turns on. Then press the button to have it on heat levels 1, 2, or 3. I did notice that regardless of the heat level it's on, that determines how long it heats up, for example. Level 1 gets to its peak temperature for 10 seconds, and then the heat slowly dissipates for 90 seconds before it heats back up. Level 3 stays hot for 30 seconds before stopping and the heat dissipating.I took it to a bonfire last night, and it's a game changer during outdoor cold events. I ended up keeping it on level 1, it worked perfectly, and my hands were comfortable while everyone else was freezing.It is well-built and feels comfortable in your hands as you loosely hold onto it. My wife now wants one, and I'll order another without hesitation.

I have Raynaud’s Syndrome and fall/winter is my worst enemy, which is a shame because fall is otherwise my favorite season. These didn’t exactly change that but they do make a HUGE difference in how much I can tolerate being outside and they just seem much safer than the corded mittens you can get.As with all hand warmers of this type, you really need one for each hand; it isn’t enough to hold one of these in both hands. It feels awkward, the air/wind seeps away a lot of the heat, and the backs of your hands don’t really get any warmth from it unless you keep moving it around (and then the fronts get cold immediately). One in each pocket is perfect.

My hands get cold really fast & easy during the colder seasons/months & my fingers go so numb they hurt so bad that I can’t tolerate the cold anymore. I knew I had to find something that could help me during the winter & I’m so happy I found this little guy! This thing really works & actually gets so hott at times I have to turn it down. I like that you have 3 heat settings to choose from & the battery lasts a really long time. I’ve used this, 3xs already for about 15-20min each time and I still haven’t needed to charge it. The color is really cute & pretty & this comes with a nice little velvet bag so after your done using it, you can protect it by putting it back into the bag. I’m really happy with this little hand warmer & highly recommend it if your looking to keep your hands warm in the winter. You won’t be disappointed with this little guy

I was heading out the door to a soccer game in 50 degree weather when this arrived. I took it out the box immediately and charged it for 20 minutes in my car using the USB plug provided. (It also came with another adapter so I could plug it into my laptop.) The 20 minute car ride was enough time for it to be charged enough to use the full 2 hour game. My hands were very happy (and warm)! Even though I have gloves, my fingers are always still cold. I held the warmer in my gloves hands, but I found that it works more efficiently if used with my bare hands.The warmer has 3 settings. Turn it on with a long push of the button and then change the settings with a quick click of the button. It’s small enough to put in my pocket but big enough to warm my whole hand. Since I’m new to this colder climate, I will be getting one of these for each person in my family.
