Impressed by this little pump (first time user)
had never had one ,so did not know how to work it, and what to expect , I held a lab experiment with a friend incase things when bad. I made up some hoses using some clear tubing and garden attachments costing 18.00 extra we ran the hose over to a subpump in the basement and then to a 5 gal bucket. when all the hoses were secured and held into place I primed the pump by pouring water into the input hose till I saw a little come out of the output side hose. Dropping the hose into the subpump well and applyed power to the pump with a 12 battery. It worked well, resulting in removing 3 gal in under a minute. the pump quiet and did not kick or jump around. I was impressed when the manufactor included a extra pump blade. Small and light all metal construction a great little tool to have around. Could use a longer cord and a on/off switch.

12 Volt DC Marine Electric Pump
This pump did worked for about only two days and later within a week when ready to be used again, the pump was having a hard time priming up the water and Ive notice a smell like rubber burning at the front of the pumps ports of the male/male connectors was. Ive touch my hand on it and gotten burned by it, Ooch! that thing was really hot there, so I did a little testing to see why the pump was not picking up any water ( When I first tried the pump! it did picked up water with a 50ft garden hose and runs just fine) so I took a 6ft garden hose reconnected it to the pump and it picked up the water just fine but it seems the pump did not have much suction power to pull any fluid with a 50ft water hose and I am wondering what had happen all of a sudden the pump loses its power suction. The motor in the pump is working just fine as when Ive first purchased it, its just the pump rubber fan rotator must had gotten weaken when in used. If I can find another rotator replacement for the pump then it will be as good as new working again.

Works perfect for our water tank!
We purchased a huge water tank to use for watering our flower beds, trees, bushes out front as we our water system is from a well with a pump which in turn can be costly when you have a lot of water uses and everything is running off the pump on the well. meaning larger electric bill! my husband hooked this up to the water tank, charges it with a portable charger, and the water flows out perfectly! prior to this pump the water was just trickling out of the tank (unless we were to put the tank on top of the house roof for better gravity and that wasn't going to happen :) ). . very happy with this product! definitely recommend!

Do not buy this worthless pump
Do not buy this pump. The claimed specs for this pump are a far cry from its actual performance. I was only able to get a 2-3 ft head height out of it. I tried everything to get this pump to work and gave up after using a 5 ft intake hose with zero incline and it still only had a 2-3 ft head height. The worst part about this pump is all of the extra hoses, accessories, and the $100 battery I had to buy to make it work. I cannot return any of the $150 or so I have invested in the extras that I no longer need because I put it all together assuming the pump would work. I had planned on using this pump on my remote hunting land 3.5 hours north of my house, so I drove up there, got the hose system all put together, and then discovered this pump is junk. Not only did I waste money on this pump but I also wasted money on all of the extra stuff, wasted my entire day, and wasted a couple tanks of gas. I had to buy another pump and drive back up there the next weekend to install the new (gas) pump. Do not buy this pump.

reliable and easy to use
I have two of these. One I run on a power pack (reserve power/engine starter) to pump water from cans into my trailer holding tank. The other I use on the dock for pumping fresh water from a bucket to my outboard flushing ears. Couple of months and I am happy with the speed, the low battery drain, the quick hook up and light weight. Can't run this pump when dry, so be careful. (Other pumps tolerate dry running but cost a lot more)

Great little pump
Pumps well. Moves a lot of liquid, but, I mounted it to a board and that works as a resonator. This pump is really loud for its size and power. Adding a resonating surface was a poor decision. And no, it's not the kind of noise you can fall asleep to. If you want an inexpensive pump, this is a great choice. If you want one to work quietly, seek elsewhere.

Nice DC pump
I run this off a backup car battery charger. It works well, you need to have water running before starting, otherwise you will kill the pump. I've found the pump has lost some of it's strength during the year I have used it. You can't run it continuously for more than 15 minutes but it has been good for pumping rainwater from barrels for me.

Was easy to hard-wire to the 12 volt battery in the ...
Bought this to pump water from a carrying tank into coolers on a golf course. Was easy to hard-wire to the 12 volt battery in the cart that we are using. Since the pump was not fused, I put a fuse into the line to minimize any fire risk. The pump has performed flawlessly and is delivering the expected ~4gpm through a 15' long hose. Have only had it in service for about 3 weeks, but no problems to date.

Doesn’t self prime
Unless I read the claims on the add wrong it was supposed to be self priming for up to 10 feet I think. I spent extra on this pump for that reason but it will not prime at all. So I cannot mount it in my boat I need to Pour water in the hose to prime.

I would give it 5 stars as it performed great. But after 6 months of light use
I would give it 5 stars as it performed great. But after 6 months of light use, it failed. After contacting the seller they informed me that there is only 30 days warranty. This pump will not fail in 30 days. Great pump if you don't use it.
