VIE Mosquitan, Anti Mosquito, 24 Patches, Natural, One Size

These are a simple and for me additional anti bite item. I have been subjected to insect bites for many years and have found that only a high level of Deet will stop me from being bitten. However, I do not like the smell of Deet and after many years of use I am getting a slight skin reaction. I have therefore explored alternatives to Deet and this does seem a perfect choice as it is made of natural ingredients. I find it very useful when out in the garden as I can stick the patch on my clothing on the collar and it stays on there. I have been working in the shrubs and at ground level and have also sat out near water and so far no bites. I will continue to use these and report back any changes.

I don't normally write reviews but feel I just have to because these patches are so good. We have just come back from mainland Greece, used these patches and didn't get bitten once. Our 3 year old has eczema so I was so worried about using anything on her skin because she would have had a flare up. These patches are a god send! We popped one patch on the front, chest area and another patch on the back leg, mid calf area. Morning and Night. You give the patch a squeeze, remove backing and stick onto clothes, the patches are very sticky so really do stay on clothes. All natural no deet. Absolutely brilliant, not one mosquito bite.

The patches come in two ziplock bags, and don't activate till you squeeze them. Unfortunately they are in blocks and you have to tear off one to use, which is very difficult to do without squeezing neighbouring squares. Still, once you get one clear it is very easy to peel off the backing and stick them on your clothes. The one I tried is still stuck now after at least eight hours, and still has a noticeable aroma of citronella. I found the smell quite pleasant. How effective they are as an insect repellant I am still not sure. I did find some large and very annoying mozzies in my garden avoided me a bit more than usual, but some smaller black flies were apparently unbothered. Since they are mosquito patches they do seem to do what they are meant to, but it would have been nice if other bugs were affected.

These are a god send! I have so far travelled to Tenerife, Egypt and Miami whilst using these and i have not once received an insect bite. I put one inside the pillow where i sleep and change it every few days, in addition to always having one on my person in the day time (either on my clothes or handbag). The smell is subtle and not unpleasant at all. Honestly i cannot recommend these enough! I used to be eaten alive both abroad and in the UK during summer but these patches are a total game changer!

They work but a tad large compared to some I've had before. Not as discreet. Good delivery and price is ok

Easy to stick to clothes, buggy, cot etc. So far (after 3 trips to Greece) my little boy hasn’t been bitten and it’s the only repellent we use. Am thinking of sticking them to my flip flops next time to see if they definitely work..!!!

Terrible product looked cheap and nasty out of the box did not work with even with 4 + patch's placed in various places at a time and was even bitten next to where patch was placed DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Had to spend additional money on a wrist band which worked.

There weren't that many mosquitos about, but, those that were seemed quite attracted to me as usual. I used these patches on the bottom of my trousers and my legs were also treated with insect repellent containing a hefty dose of DEET which was a product recommended by a local pharmacy where we were on holiday. Even so, it didn't deter the little beasts and I got four of the worst bites I had on holiday.I used the patches one more time in the evening along with a different skin repellent and didn't get any new bites, but, that was probably sheer luck.
