I live near a world class restaurant in Columbus Ohio called the Refectory. On a resent visit I asked what brand of coffee they served. It was Douwe Egberts. I am sure they use fresh ground coffee. This brand was not readily available where I shop so I decided to try the instant version available through Amazon. I was totally surprised by how good it was. It is pricy but it is by far the best instant coffee I have ever tasted.

I've been drinking Douwe Egberts coffee for many years but I try to restrict caffeine, so this is wonderful that it still tastes great, with way less caffiene ! Love it!

as a other reviewer mentioned, I also received this product now on two separate occasions where the quality seal was broken. Please check before you consume!

This is so delicious! This is the best coffee. I use a teaspoon in a regular coffee cup. Add hot water to about an inch from the top... finish with half and half. Perfection!

I couldn't be happier...except...I wish I had ordered a dark brew vs the medium. Other than that, its a very pleasant coffee for instant.

The safety seal was broken with contents spilled out, exact same situation with the replacement I ordered. There is no way this seal broke open during shipping. The risk of tampering is too high - too bad as Dow Egberts is great coffee. Sigh.
