I used this to convert my old phone cable for my new phone rather than rip out all the old wire and replace it. Time consuming and cold task this time of the year! I've been using my phone over a month in my classic car and the plug is perfect, not too big or heavy. So for what I was looking to do, this was a perfect workaround. Also its a nice tight fix inmy samsung phone. I've not 5 star it purely because it's not doing anything major. But it works fine.

I got 6 of these for myself and my family to retro-fit a bunch of micro-USB cables we already had around the home, after upgrading to new phones. Of course, you shouldn't expect this to magically enable fast charging, but if you just need a trickle charge, it'll do the job.
