Review for climbers
Given the current situation I decided to start this little DIY hangboard project. The budget was tight , nevertheless convincing my gf to set it up in the living was actually the real challenge. The cage is solid , surprinsigly easy to build although a little mat and getting rid of the plastic ends is necessary to add some stability .I bought a plywood board 19mm thick, cut 2 pieces of 124cmx30cm and used 4 M12 bolts to attach them.Bear in mind that the distance between each hole on the rack is exactly 5cm and in length 117,5cm.For the back of the holds board i used the standard climbing M10 T nut , hammered . Works like a charm. For the other board i used spare pieces of plywood screwed behind , to add grip to the very long screws that hold the finger board. Its not elegant but it's hidden so who cares. The overall weight is increased of 5kg of wood, the holds , finger board and screws etc we re looking at an extra 7kg, so roughly 13kg. It' s something, but on the other hand it also helps holding the structure of the cage therefore it's somehow better. The fingerboard is a Metolious simulator 3D and the holds from HOLDZ . Rest is amazon. Total cost including them, 350gbp. I ve been training for a week now. It's steady , solid enough and i an train while watching TV, cool ! Hope one day all this will be over and we can hit the real walls again .

Really Good Quality for the price
Really surprised of the quality and how stable this is for the Price, the only criticism I have is the grips are cut into the metal on the pull up bar which after a few reps digs into my hands apart from that amazing bits of gym equipment.Highly recommend

Easy to assemble and sturdy but with some issues
For the price this is an excellent budget squat rack. Its very easy to build (with the right tools) and seems to be pretty sturdy. One of the J hooks had been welded badly so it won't fit into the hole correctly meaning its not safe for me to use with a loaded barbell. I have been in touch with the company who told me they would send a replacement, which I received in less than a week. Pretty good customer service! Also, the pull up bar is pretty thin, definitely thinner than the 'standard'. It's a minor thing, but if you plan on doing high rep hanging stuff, its something to consider as its not very comfortable.

Well made piece of kit.
For a freestanding rack , this is pretty good. Strict pull ups and toes to nose are fine. If you are kipping, then you probably need something more heavy duty. However, this is a great addition to my garage gym.

Solid product, good buy
Don't often leave reviews but thought it was worth it for this as I had a few concerns before purchasing but decided to go ahead. I wasn't too sure on how stable the unit would be or if my height/weight would be a problem for it. I'm 6'6 and 113kg but have had no issues at all with using the product. Slight wobble with the bar but overall its very sturdy and it's not even bolted to the ground. Currently got it outside for some outdoor training. Really simple to put together as other reviewers have said. Would definitely recommend for the price.

A good piece of kit for a home gym.
Arrived earlier than expected delivery date.I bought it because my CrossFit box was closed due to corona virus and I wanted to be able to perform WODs at home still.Relatively easy to assemble. Fairly sturdy but does need to be weighted down if using it for kipping pull-ups. Would need weather proofing if you intend to leave it outside; mine is indoors.I use mine as a squat rack and for pull-ups. I also hang my TRX off of it.Overall very happy with my purchase.

Impressive
I love it, it's worth every penny. The instructions are a little confusing but overall the assembly didn't take as long as I thought it would take. Its sturdy and high quality and I look forward to getting a lot of use out of it- if anything my only complaint would be that the pull up bar is very thin and a little rough on the hands. Complaints aside this is excellent value for money and a strongly recommended buy for anybody with enough space and an interest in personal fitness.

Strong well made piece of kit which is great for pull ups
Strong well made piece of kit which is great for pull ups. I use a couple of sand bags from Wickes across the base to give added stability. I would have preferred it to be 6 inches higher (I'm 6' 2") so I don't have to bend at the knee whilst working out. It remains outside because its too big to remain in the bungalow. No shaking whilst I workout which give me great confidence to work hard. Highly recommended for the money
