I lost summer somewhere

I saw a poem by Ms. Russell on Twitter and bought the book based on that one alone, as it spoke to me on a visceral level. The rest of the work in this sweet, short little collection are also beautiful. They are spare, sparkling ruminations on life and love by someone who has clearly experienced, and thought about, both. Highly recommend.

I love poetry and this collection is so moving and so exquisite. There is a bizarre simplicity and directness - yet this inexplicable power and magic in each piece. It's hard to explain. Thank you, Sarah Russell. I hope you read this and never stop writing poetry.
