Skip Hop Explore and More Fox Xylophone

A nice toy and it makes an ok sound but the string attaching the beater is so short it’s difficult to reach all bars. We will probably detach it at some point but then it’ll inevitably get lost!

This is such a beautiful toy! Like some others I decided to cut the string as it was difficult to use otherwise. Great value for money and arrived quickly. 11 month old very pleased! :)

Hard for a small baby to play with this as the string is too short. Hard for an adult to play

Nice toy for babies, the string is too short. The noise it makes is not annoying or too loud. My son likes it.

This is a great toy. Very sturdy. Only flaw is the string for drumming is too short

I cut the string off because it inhibits free play. Sound is good. Baby loves it. Great buy

Some have reported this already but the string is short. It's fine when an adult plays the Xylophone, but when a toddler who's hand coordination is great, they will struggle to hit the notes (especially as you go up the keys). I don't think a longer string would compromise it's safety (as long it's not meters long).Also the A key is off note which is a bit annoying.On the positive side, the movement of the fox (bobbles up and down when rolled) is quite nice.

The pull string was a bit short but other than that good product
