bought this product for my daughter and she loves it

bought one for my son in law, but when it arrived bought one for myself! i had so much pleasure making it. but did have to glue 1p's on the hammers as they were not heavy enough to make the sound on the glochspele.

First and foremost I have to say that the kit is well designed and engineered with such precision. I have been modelling for a very long time, but have never experienced a kit with so much precision and accuracy. The downside might be that the modeller would need a great deal of patience and strong thumb nails. If you have those, then go ahead, it’s a wonderful kit.

Quite easy to put together, once I’d got the hang of the peg placement it sounded ok

I was quite excited to build this clock, photos show it nicely detailed and a credible talking point.I have my own laser printer and wanted to compare quality of pieces and material.Nicely packaged only 3 sheets of laser cut material, very well cut and defined, pieces are numbered at edges and with minimal force can be pushed out easily.** My tip here is use a flat surface to rest on and i used the edge Not tip of a small Phillips screwdriver against the face, this is helpful so you do not put too much pressure on any point as there are some very intricate thin areas, Check both sides where you are going to apply pressure to see if the laser has cut all the way through, this will reduce the stress at that point and avoid breaking or pulling the face material off. The material is like a thin laminate.Pieces all removed successfully and there are a few spares for the more smaller and more vulnerable joiners. Apply even pressure to the joint bearing in mind they are brittle and take your time. I would say 99% of the pieces went in with little effort and a distinguishable click was heard to confirm this. NO Glue is necessary, Nor is there a need for tapping or using a hammer! A needle file is probably all you need just to clean a tab if it is tight.** Another tip: there are several pieces that are identically numbered and although they are the same if you find one to be tight in fitting swap them around. My experience in using laser cutting patterns has shown some will go in a particular orientation or a matched 'tab' hole more easily and avoid breaking a part.This is a good and fun piece to make and the instructions are in colour and relatively straight forward to follow.Build time around 1 hour and it runs silent, i like the 'Second hand' so at least you can see it working. There is an Thin Acrylic clock face ( known as PMMA) on the instructions, as others have said not really needed but may protect clock hands from 'Little fingers'!!!To Sum up:Do not be heavy handed or rush to push out pieces there are after all only 47. Good value for money. Well designed.Very pleased with result

Very good Christmas present

Brought for my brother last year. A good quality puzzle, easy to assemble. It's still ticking today and so good it has pride of place in the hallway. Good fun for anyone that likes a challenge.

Habe die Uhr meinem Papa Weihnachten 2022 geschenkt. Er hat sie zusammen mit meiner kleinen Tochter aufgebaut und sie passt perfekt ins Wohnzimmer von der Größe. Man hört das Pendel ganz leise beim schwingen. Der Aufbau ist auch unkompliziert. Und hübsch ist sie auch noch. Ich würde sie immer wieder kaufen.

Se lo regalamos al abuelo y le ha resultado muy entretenido de montar. Queda muy bonito el acabado y funciona perfectamente.

Viene en una cajita de cartón y sería un buen regalo para alguien que le gusten los puzzles, es fácil de montar y queda muy bien a nivel decorativo

Wunderschöne Uhr, die tut was sie soll. Gekauft hatte ich die Uhr für ein Gemeinschaftsprojekt mit einem unserer Kinder. Leider durfte ich dann nicht helfen beim Zusammenbau.. 🙈🤣 Unser 15 jähriges Kind hat alles alleine gemacht. Das Pendel der Uhr haben wir inzwischen aber abgebaut, weil es immer an eins der anderen Teile schlägt. Auf Dauer etwas nervig. Trotzdem 5 Sterne, weil sie einfach schön aussieht.
