Received the good quite damaged to the point I suspect the bottle sent to me was a returned good. The packaging of the bottle was quite damaged as well. Anyway not a good impression from the start.I will start with the positives. The bottle has quite a slim profile and the smooth stainless steel finish gives the sleek look. The artwork is quite fanciful too. The packaging is of the bottle is quite nice too with some fact on lion but it came damaged.Now the negatives. The item arrived damaged. Scratches on the surface of the bottle, damaged packaging and the "bamboo top" seems damaged (or badly manufactured?). The bottle DOES have metallic smell unless the smell is from the bamboo top in which case the description about it not retaining flavour should be reconsidered. And as its not listed on the item description, I will tell you that the bottle is made in China. Products made in China has become vastly improved compared to its past reputation but the reliability of the product is still a cause for concern. Perhaps the scratches on my bottle and the smell is from not so reliable production method?The bottle does not leak with a short test but I will expand on this review after using it for few days. But I suspect the silicon ring will be worn out over time and then there will be leakage.In all, looks nice but some concerns as to it can perform its basic functionality of water bottle!UPDATE: I have used this for over a year now. I never had a leakage and it doesnt contain flavour inside as described. So I am changing my stars to 4 from 3. I still take one off as it came slightly damaged (scratches) although as the comment suggests the sellers are happy to exchange but I saw that comment today (06/03/17)

This item arrived dented (no damage to the box) so I assume it was damaged during manufacture or it may be ex display or used.However that said, it is a very well made bottle and does not leak.It appears to be made to a very high standard and will last a long time.It comes in a very nice presentation box.The neck is easily wide enough to accommodate my Steripen Ultra (which is why I brought this bottle) but makes it a bit dribbly if drinking straight from the bottle.All in all you can go to Tesco and buy a stainless steel water bottle for a fiver but you would not get the wide neck, carry handle pretty box or lion emblem (not etched onto the bottle so not sure how long it will last). I guess it is up to you to decide if that's worth an extra tenner.Apart from the dent I am happy with this purchase but I am unable to give as a gift as it is damaged.

This is very quality product. The price tag might be more than you want to spend on a water bottle, but if you find yourself using one all the time and have a good track record of not losing them, this is worth the investment.Product does everything it promises: looks stylish, doesn't leak, keeps liquid cool (haven't tried hot yet), doesn't sweat, and maintains a comfortable temperature on it's exterior due to the double lining. I've had cold water in it for 3 hours so far, and it holds the temperature very well.The box mentions how the bamboo top resting on the cap helps insure that water wont leak out... I don't get how that helps at all, but it's an aesthetically pleasing touch non the less. Upon un-boxing there was a thin layer of a concerning yellowish type paste around the bamboo, but it washed off just fine - I attribute this to just how the product is packaged, and is nothing to get worried about.If you want to buy a quality product that will stand the test of time of keep your water cool, get this.

The bottle works and it is very cool. I haven't tested to it's limits but keeps the water colder than a normal water can. It arrived with a few bumps, not too deep to crack the steel, and the cardboard box completely smashed (I mean the brand box, amazon box was spotless, that's because I don't give 5 stars,because they knew the bottle was probably bump and send it anyway), but I didn't reclaimed because I though I was going to make my owns pretty soon anyway...

This is a really good bottle for water. it looks good so good for carrying ....but is quite heavy to carry around. Water keeps cold. Only problem is when drinking out of the flask you can easily pour it all over yourself. I would say the neck opening needed to be a little narrower at the top to make it easier to drink out of. if you have no glass handy to pour the water into it can be awkward drinking out of it.But i like the container

I absolutely love this bottle!! When I first opened it was first struck with the beautiful design. And I get a lot of compliments about it at work and when I am out and about. The cap is a twist style cap but unlike others I have had in this style it never leaks. I ride my bike to work and this is in my bag and is moving around a lot in my bag. But not one single drop has leaked so far. I have only ever used it for cold water, and it keeps it cold for a long time. I fil it up at night as I often wake thirsty in the night and whenever I awake it is still always icy cold. excellent product.

This is a good quality bottle - keeping fluids hot and cold for a good amount of time. When I chose it, I very much liked the Lion design. Howeer, contrary to what I thought, the design is not etched into the bottle but a sticker type thing that's been stuck on. Now after a couple of months usage, the design is slowly peeling off/wearing away in places. I will continue you to use it because it still does what it's supposed to do.

I love this flask! I put boiling hot water and lemon in this at 7pm, and it was still very warm by then time I drank it again at 6.30am the next morning. Cool lion design. If they had this available in a litre I would have preferred that, but it's still a good size.
