JVL Grey Woven carpet and rubber 40 x 70 door mat home office caravan

This is a great heavy duty door mat! I was quite surprised I’ve paid the same for the carpet ones from the shops that slip and slide everywhere and my dog destroys by chewing them 🙄It has a rubber edge and little rubber circular things all over the back to stop it slipping! The only thing I found was the colour I ordered the beige but I would say it’s more of a rust/rose gold (weird I know) colour which I actually quite like haha. Anyway if your after a heavy duty door mat at a very cheap price I would highly recommend this one 😀

Not much to say about the mat other than it seems to do the job. But i want to talk about the packaging...it came in a massive box with insane amount of paper stuffed in it to make it full. The mat is not a fragile product so I don’t understand why the seller finds the need to waste so much packaging material on it. We are living in a society that overused packaging to an obscene level. Just for that reason, I will give everything 1 star so hopefully it will get sellers attention.

I read the reviews and zoomed in on the picture and decided anything was better looking that the carpet offcut at my back door. So i bit the bullet and purchased what i expected to be my nans door mat. I was surprised how not ugly it was, and we've actually been asked where we purchased it by quite a few people, surprised? me too! It's extremely hard wearing, and when my diva dog got over the fact we had taken away the shaggy pile carpet and finally started putting his paws on it instead of jumping over it, even his filthy paws are no test for it ( he even carries his dinner to it and eats off it! my dog approves! lol) With all it's use it still shows no sign of ware, definitely recommend this mat

We needed a mat that was around the same width as the door, and unobtrusive to look at. We needed it to stay put on a porcelain tile surface. And we needed it to collect as much dirt and wet as possible in the one step taken over it when entering the house!It's small, neat, and fits perfectly behind the front door. It isn't substantially thick but has a good raised and patterned pile. The pile is relatively soft, and doesn't discolour when wet or show the dirt. A knobbled rubber underside keeps the mat in place, and although it does still walk a little, I doubt you could get better than that for our type of tiled floor. I'm sure it would stay completely in place on a less smooth surface. And it does take most of the wet and almost all the dirt off our footwear, not to mention the dogs paws!We have a very similar looking but much larger mat at our back door which, despite its size, does a less efficient job on ours and the dogs feet, and also it "walks" all over the floor needing repositioning several times a day. Might as well have bought a small mat there too, as it's size hasn't made it any more efficient than this mat!!!Good purchase.

A feature of a door Matt that I never thought I would have to consider is how much my cat likes to sleep on it.One of my cats has polyneuropathy and, as a result of this, can’t get very high as his legs are very week. He values comfortable places to sleep that are low to the ground. Once I put the mat down, he gave it a little inspection and then plonked himself down with a satisfied purr. I have been fussing him since.I have no idea how it functions as a mat, it seems like it would work fine, but the cat loves it so 20/10 would recommend to cats.

As my dog is old and wobbly on his legs, I wanted rubber backed mats which would grip and not move, to cover the section of wooden floor between the carpet and the front door where he kept losing his footing. These do the job perfectly, staying put and allowing him to get in and out with no trouble. They feel tough and hardwearing but are still not so thick as to prevent the door moving freely over them. Good mats, good value.

These are great little mats. Tough, well made, easy to maintan, heavy and suffer from minimum "walking movement" when placed on top of carpets at doorways where I/ve placed them to protect from incoming dirt on shoes. The small nobbly rubber bits on the underside, grip the carpet it protects. I've got five now: four beige and one grey. I plan to buy a green one for the hallway. Shame there aren't more colours to choose from: I'd even buy a few more. Recommended.

Love these mats, bought 3 to go the width of our patio doors in our lounge, they arestrong, well made and a pleasant shade of green, they were bought to replacethe 3 coir doormats we had there which shed all over the place and so pleased we did,thoroughly recommend these mats and would definitely buy them again. Don’t worryabout the smell of the rubber, you’d get that with any similar mat and the smell disappearsafter a day or two.
