Enjoying my☕
New product to me, though I would try something more healthy than pure coffee. Very happy with the flavour, a good smooth & mild mix in my opinion.

GOOD
The 'CHICORY GRANUEL Bag claims its 250g. But as you can see from the pics its now like 200-210g or we been 165g Good Flavoursome strong 'coffee' tasted Chicory. That it reminds me of a 'manchado coffee in Spain where I Need to add a little .5 of tsp of sugar which i gave up 40 yrs ago. Though the scent when hot water first hit the 'granules smells 'chocolatey'. I'm not disappointed in the taste just the size of the misadvertising of the weight of the produceIt treated even better this time as the last chicory from another brand. It was smoother

Coffee inside (20%)
Still have to try it, but the title of the product does not say that is made also by coffee - 20% of it. Not just chicory and barley

A very Portuguese taste for those who had it before brings back memories.

To those complaining that it leaves chunks in their cup......
...this is GROUND, intended for filter machines (or cafetieres, or whatever). If you prepare it properly, it's much more tasty! I use half this and half Amazon branded coffee (also very tasty) as I'm trying to cut down on caffeine (my Portuguese daughter in law gave me the idea). Just replace ground coffee spoon-for-spoonful for the right strength. I've deducted one star because of the price, I'm reliably informed that this is only a couple of euros when bought off the shelf.

Tastes like cheap instant coffee without the benefit of a cheap price.
This arrived in a sealed bag covered with writing in a foreign language - which didn't help with ingredients, preparation etc.The bag is not resealable so you need to have a container ready. Inside it a fine powder. Preparing this like instant coffee and pouring hot water over it gave a coffee-like drink, I guess but the powder clumps up into coffee granual sized lumps which don't disolve, so you get a free meal and lots of residue at the bottom of your cup and sticking to the sides and mouthfuls of the stuff as you get closer to the bottom of the drink. I found this a bit unpleasant. So, tried it, didn't like it and won't be buying it again. Can't recommend it either on my experience.

Taste the coffee
The small coffee granules float around the top so a filter is needed. I guess the product is fine if you don’t mind drinking coffee

Too strong
Don't use too much or it will taste too strong and bitter, and probably it's better the barley only mixture.

Beautiful coffee substitute
This coffee substitute actually TASTES LIKE COFEE, hallelujah. Full bodied and deep and strong, this coffee substitute shines. This one is 20% coffee and the rest is chicory and barley, and then the Delta Iberica that is also sold from the same company is 50% coffee. I haven't tried the Delta Iberica yet, but I am 100% sure that I am getting the Delta Peninsular again. The best part? Since it's only 20% coffee, you can actually re-use these coffee grinds to get a second cup of coffee from the same grinds that still retain a burst of flavor. You can't beat that. With regular coffee, you'd get something that looks like dishwater with some coffees if you re-used the coffee grounds. Definitely buying this one again. By the way, many people have different tastes when it comes to coffee, and so here is an idea of my flavor pallet: Starbucks is too acidic for me, but I will do a café Americano at Starbucks since it has a smoother and less acidic bean. I also prefer a dark roast or a medium roast with plenty of body to it. That's not my favorite though. I appreciate independent roasters and also brands such as Intelligentsia, Stumptown, and Blue Bottle coffee. I haven't had Folgers since my mother kept it in the house 40 years ago. So, these are the coffees I am comparing the Delta Peninsular to.

Buono e costoso
Niente da dire sulla qualità del prodotto DELTA, che è una garanzia, ma il prezzo è molto alto per 250g (per questo motivo gli do 3 stelle).
