Works with Dr Prepare weather station B07TFGNNCQ [DPWS-OUT-001]
Bought this outdoor sensor to replace the sensor that came with a Dr Prepare weather station [as below] which no longer registed a value for outdoor [only 3 years old]. Moved batteries from old sensor [had replaced with new incase that was the issue] and it showed temp number on weather station without [yet another] reboot etc.Dr. Prepare Projection Alarm Clock, Digital Clock Projector with Indoor/Outdoor Thermometer Hygrometer, USB Charger and AC & Battery Operated, Dual Alarm Clocks for Bedroom with Weather Forecastwww.amazon.com/gp/product/B07TFGNNCQThe new sensor does not look like old - it is slightly taller/thicker and noticably wider [20%+].Put sensor next to station [indoors] for a couple of hours & temp's agreed to 0.2F - not bad!The 2 batteries I use are AAA lithium [energizer] as work better outside down to 0F [-18C].Has a bright red LED on front that flashes every 55secs [presumably when transmitting temperature data to station]Dr Prepare: you should put on station web page that it works with this sensor [and vice-versa].<RANT> I have had several weather stations over the years from different manufacturers and these external sensors are 95% of the problems (station not getting temp updates) I've had - I know they are outside so get exposed to cold/hot but better feedback [or more robustness] would be appreciated. Also, most stations only work with a specific sensor [even from same manufacturer...why? Surely easier to just have one sensor that can work with several different models of station] and it's needleessly difficult to get the replacements sensor [if avail at all]. Give me 2 or 3 sensors with original station and charge $10-$20 more!I only persevered in this case as I like the B07TFGNNCQ station - alternating outside/inside temp on the projected image [with current time] is very good. Also like the screen colour on station fade rotating every 6s [don't think the newer B09MQ4827X station has this]</RANT>TIAM

second one that will not connect with base station
I've tried 2 of these and neither will connect with the base station it's supposed to pair with. Red light doesn't even come on when batteries installed. Complete waste of time. The base station is now pretty much worthless.

I like this clock, but i wish i could dim the screen
This worked right out of the box. I even knocked the outdooe transmitter of fthe wall and it rained on it . The bar\tteries fell out so I dried it off an reset it. Still works great.

Yet another busted Dr Prepare product!
Clock was purchased just for external temperature monitoring. Well, the 1st receiver didn't work, so I thought I'd get one with best hope that initial receiver was the problem. Neither receiver works. Clock is completely useless to me. Will never buy another product from this company again. It didn't work. No, not use error. It's a bad product that doesn't work.
