Updated review: the seller saw my poor review below, and asked me if I wanted my money back, or a replacement product. They sent me another switch without me needing to send back the faulty switch. It now works as expected, and I've change this review to reflect this.Review below was for the first switch I was supplied with, which it seems was faulty:Plugged this into the HDMI port on our three year old TV and tried to watch the same DVD that worked fine when the DVD player was plugged directly into the TV HDMI port.Using this switcher, even with only the DVD player plugged into it, the picture jumps every few seconds, and there is a loud crackle to accompany it. It didn't matter which of the three ports on the switch I used.Rubbish product, based purely on my testing with the only TV I need to use it with in our house.

Review Update:Seller contacted me and offered a replacement for free (great service). I have just received the new item and plugged it in.It connects a Freeview DVR, Wii U and PS3... so far the splitter is working perfectly, whereas before it was only giving a clear picture for the DVR and the Wii U.Hopefully it was just a case that the first item was faulty!Original review...It works but it doesn't switch between signals automatically and I get interference (snow and picture drops out) when I watched a DVD routed through the switcher.I don't know whether this is just one of those things or whether it is due to the quality (or lack of it?) of this product.However, essentially it works and has made life easier with so many HDMI cables and only 2 sockets on my TV - but can be frustrating when the picture drops out while watching!

I bought this because I recently bought a firestick. I run my setup through my Xbox One but only have one HDMI port on my TV so I had to keep changing the cable to switch between feeds. This works really well and is compatible with the firestick which is something I was concerned about having seen reviews on similar products that stated they weren't compatible with the Firestick.There was nothing complicated involved with this, just simply plug it in and get going. There is a button on it that allows really easy switching between the feeds. All in all really good and I'm happy with it.My only wish was that there was a remote control for it to save having to get up to switch feeds all the time but it is still a lot better and less hassle just clicking the button than messing about with plugging and unplugging different leads all the time.

It's works fine.. or worked fine but for some reason when I turn on my tv and turn on my sky box it doesn't seem to want to pick up the sky box or the HDMI.. but when I turn the Xbox on then it suddenly picks it up (both sky and Xbox) .. also i can only click the little button to change from 1 to 2 when the Xbox is on as well, when the sky box is on the red light never wants to go to the other hdmi slot (when I've clicked the little black button) it only works when the Xbox is on as well.. if someone could tell me what I'm doing wrong or if the actual little black box is faulty I would really appreciate it. Thank you

I bought two of these, one for my Dad and one for me. My one didn't work properly. For some reason it worked off my Virgin box but the screen jumped and audio was interrupted when using Amazon Firestick and when I used PS3. However, my Dad's one seems to work fine when using his Sky box and Amazon FireStick. Maybe some are faulty, as mine certainly is. Returning the product for full refund and going to look for a different device from a different company as it seems many other people are having problems with this device (whilst others are having success). Take the risk if you want, HEJSANG look like they will refund if faulty however which is why I have decided to give this product 3 stars. 1 star rating for my device, four stars for my Dad's one and then rounding it up due to the ease of returning the faulty product.

Needed this for my projector and TV (bought 2), since my projector (Optoma H183X) only has 1 hdmi port. It's simple enough to use.It has 3 ports, just plug all your devices into it with their HDMI cables. Then plug this into your TV/Projectors HDMI port.There is a small button on the top that lets you switch between the three hdmi ports. A light will go on indicating which HDMI port you have selected (1,2 or 3).It also has a neat feature where it switches automatically to the device that is switched on. So say for example you switch your blu-ray player on, this will automatically select the port you connected the blu-ray to. However, if you have more than 1 device switched on that are both plugged in, i.e. blu-ray and your laptop, you'll have to manually switch between the ports.Overall seems to be of good quality. Doesn't feel like a cheap nasty product.

Update: since I wrote tbis review they sent me a new one for free and I didn't have to send the other one back either, so far working fine with no problemsWorked fine for awhile, a good few months but all of a sudden it will change hdmi output so I could be playing a game and it would just switch hdmi output then come back, it was a good splitter up until the :(

Awful doesn't work more than a couple of seconds then switches back to the main source.Update to original review 10/01/17After reading other reviews I now realise this device doesn't work with PS4. It would have been nice to now this in the first place . After switching it to use with other devices it now works fine. Still only 4* though due to the lack of information.
