TF Gear Camping Sandwich Toaster Grill, Cooks Toasties, Breakfast and More! Ideal for Fishing

Needed a new frying pan anyway so went for this as seemed more versatile and compact. I'm really in awe of this product 😍 it's so easy to clean with nothing sticking to it. It has cooked steak, chicken, pork (large enough for two adults),as well as more unexpected items such as oven chips (small portion for one) and fish fingers! Cook on a really low heat and if the lid is closed, things cook a lot quicker and can continue cooking when taken off heat supply. It also makes excellent thick doorstop toasties. The build is of a high quality, it looks good and is very sturdy. The only thing that I think could be improved if used for camping would probably be a removable handle to make smaller for anyone back packing. Very pleased with the purchase as it's equivalent in quality to the much more expensive brand and it's a lot bigger so better for couples/larger portions.

I bought this for camping but it's earned its way in to kitchen at home.It's so Much more versatile than just a toastie maker (although it does this well) and much easier, quicker and less messy than using pans over a camp stove. Largely anything you'd fry or grill you can cook on this. I've stopped taking a frying pan camping now, just this and a pot for pasta.I now use it for halloumi all the time at home and camping, For the first time I can cook it perfectly, and as a bonus it gives pleasing grill marks. It's completely non-stick, everything just slides off and it's practically effortless to clean, just a quick wipe really. It's replaced the hardly used toastie maker in the kitchen, it's so easy to throw together a toastie for lunch now with no big clean up operation after, it's used weekly - unlike the actual toastie maker which was used more like bi-annually. Definitely get it for camping you'll probably find you end up using it at home.

This gadget is amazing. I have cooked toasted sandwiches, bacon, chicken drum sticks, burgers, tiny fish, sausages, and even vege sausages. All meat and fish is tender but moist. Even vege items are better than in a frying pan. Chicken with barbecue sauce did not stick or burn. I just use a spray of low cal oil. Start with the lowest possible heat setting so nothing sticks or burns. Open the top whenever you want to check how things are going. You can even finish off with the lid open if there is too much moisture. Then draw the pan off the heat. The metal will stay hot and go on cooking for a while. Allow the metal to cool, then it is easy to wash everything in warm, soapy water. So far only used on my kitchen gas stove. Will be trying this in my camper van, and on the top of a log stove.

This toaster was dispatched very quickly ahead of suggested delivery date , and having used it a couple of times , to toast Panninis does the job well, it does require vigilance as they cook quite quickly , my only criticism would be that the picture on the advert /box suggests that it will cook two sandwiches simultaneously,but you would be hard pressed to get two large slices side by side , maybe two small sandwiches would work , but I have yet to try this ,easy to clean and carry ,ideal for camping so on balance I’m sure it will be useful for it’s purpose .

I was originally going to buy a more expensive branded grill, but after reading the reviews I decided to try this one first. It arrived more quickly than the delivery estimate (by several days!) and honestly I've cooked everything on it since.It's a brilliant piece of kit, good for grilling, frying, sautéing... and because you can flip it over during cooking it makes amazing toasted sandwiches (butter on the outside of course). I've seen people use these for fry-ups, grilling chicken, even making desserts. It's easy to clean too, and the non-stick coating just makes it all the more easy to use.Our family will soon be living in our van, and I know this grill will be invaluable to us then. It already is, and we're still in bricks & mortar at the moment! Highly recommend.

Love this little toastie pan, easy to use, small enough to store away, easy to cook in and easy to clean.We use this in our campervan as we don't have an oven/grill so it saves us frying everything.It can be used over any heat source, simply heat it up a bit before you first put your food in it, pop in your food, close the lid and cook.Turn it over with your food inside to cook both sides evenly. When the pan gets hot it cooks very quickly so keep your eye on your food so you don't burn it.Our favourite fast lunch was grilled cheese sandwiches. Realistically you can only make one sandwich at a time but they only took a couple of minutes to cook once the pan was hot so there wasn't much waiting around. Butter the outside of the sandwich rather than the inside, stuff with cheese and put in the pan. Shut the pan together and turn to prevent burning. A couple of minutes later a delicious grilled cheese sandwich.Anything that you could grill or fry you could cook in this pan within reason. And if one pan isn't big enough then at £14.99 why not buy another and have one on each hob!To clean I waited until it was cool and wiped it out with some kitchen paper.The handle is not removable but it is slimline so just slotted into one of the cupboardsDon't know how I lived without it!

Love this item, we used on a recent camping trip, made sausages and bacon and even pizza using this, all cooked really well. I also have a toaster platethat you can use over a gas hob, but to be honest I think this item could now replace that. Very versatile, I could imagine being able to cook a great number of things either using in half as a grilling pan or locked closed to great a mini oven effect.

I didn't realise it, but it is massive. I was expecting a toast/slice of bread kind of size, but it was a lot bigger than that... The item itself seemed to have been well made though, shame it wasn't the size I expected. Returned for that reason. The item addicted in a package of the box without being wrapped or anything but arrived safely. Just for the info...
