BlackfriarRoad Line Marking Paint Yellow - 1 Litre (BF0590002D1)

A friend painted a grid shape on the path beside my house because of inconsiderate parking. I am disabled and often couldn't get my wheelchair out. Painting this grid alongside a large disabled notice (also from Amazon) I have solved the problem. A warning - make sure you own the land or have permission before use.

Does exactly what it says on the tin.I used it to mark out parking bays on a driveway.Two coats about two weeks ago and the paint is still vibrant and appears to be very hard wearing.I would recommend.

Arrived as promised. well packaged for shipping. The paint dries out to a Matt finish and covers well it still needed three coats to give a good covering at the height change between two concrete areas.

Excellent product which did exactly what it said on the tin ! Including a very accurate assessment of coverage area which was highly important to my application of this product. I used Blackfriar paints many years ago and was impressed then. The high quality has been maintained over the years. Goes on well, dries really quick and is bright without being dazzling. Does seem to be a matt finish which is fine for me, perhaps also because I applied in the cold. Time will tell if it sticks to the epoxy garage floor, but certainly looks the part highlighting my pit.

Used for marking wheelchair ramp across curb. Still bright after 7 months. Easy to use, but dreadful to clean up ...I threw brush away and used my oldest clothes ..

Our allocated parking lines were nearly gone but there was enough left to create some bright new ones. In fact they were painted twice as the second time a different technique was used. The secret is don't paint the lines but load up the brush and dab it on with the end of the brush parallel to the line edge. Don't be stingy with the paint as you need to build up a good layer or you will be doing it again as I did. Best done when the surface is cold; the early morning of a hot day. Don't let anybody drive over it before it is really dry, which might take all day. Nothing worse than finding black tyre marks on your nice newly painted yellow lines with yellow blotches in a long line. If I do this job again I will get a bigger tin as I had to buy two tins of this really useful yellow line paint. I have also done the 'Keep off our private parking spaces' in white but that is another review.
