Works very well
I was recommended to try this product to repair the hinge on an antique metal item. There was not a particularly large area but the glue took and held. The silver colour blended in well with the original. Very pleased with the result.

The good stuff
I needed this to make some badges for some rim bosses for my classic car. I had the decal badge; then I needed to glue an M5 short bolt to them. The badges were convex so I had to use a bolt and not glue to the bosses. It was aluminium glued to steel, so I scuffed up both items with some 600 grit, mixed up the Araldite, and applied.Araldite does not shrink or crack and there is only a few minutes of working time, then it takes time to cure. However, this is exactly what Araldite has always been like; I have used it for years, so predictability really matters.They cured rock solid, I bolted the badges on and tight too. The Araldite did not budge at all.

Dark grey, not clear
Not enough description in ad: paste actually dark grey and dries like that. Had assumed would be clear. Great for right project, but not for mine!

Strong Glue
Bought this specifically to repair and glue metal nuts and bolts on my post box. They had rusted over time and become slightly loose thereby making the post box wobble on its post. I was unable to get the nuts off and neither could I cut them off without damaging the box itself. I cleaned the bolts then glued them tight.I put the post box back on the pole and tightened the retaining screws. the Aruldite metal glue held fast and the box is tight and steady.

Easy to dispense, easy to mix, difficult to actually become an adhesive. Used it correctly however the results were rubbish

It works
Don't know why people are badly reviewing this product as it's quite good to be honest. Had to fit a steel plate to the underside of a vehicle without welding and this did the job. Just mix accordingly and apply pressure and leave it and eventually it's solid.
