Strong lock. I tried to ‘pick’ it, not a chance. Solid and chunky. Thick steel cable in a good thick plastic coating. Easy to mount/dismount on the bike frame, just press the red button. Cable is plenty long enough too.

Very pleased this came in a box with carry bag as ordered for a gift. The lock comes easy to read instructions to set the combination lock. Also has a fixing with it to attach to bike, which was an important feature. Very well received gift for a bike lover.

I have a heavy lock which has been to cumbersome to carry around so I wanted a lightweight one and this ticked all the boxes. I received it today and used it. The length, weight and use is excellent and could not have been better. I did not need to ready the instructions to change the combinations. The dials are very smooth and easy to use. I do not think it will rust either. Everything is perfect except the very bad design of the clamp that locks the cable to the bike frame. It is not big enough to fit anywhere on the frame as there is break cable is covering it and only 1 inch of the frame is round and fits the clamp and that is under the saddle. Since I am short I have to lower the saddle right down and therefore I have no where to hook it except carry it in my bag. That is such an easy design to get right but they totally aped it. Really stupid. So I took 1 star off. However, I am sure most of you can attach it under your saddle.

Bought the lock almost a year ago. Robustly built without being too heavy. High quality dial which feels like it will last for many years. Still coils up into it's original shape easily which means it doesn't interfere with my pedaling! The 'clip in' bracket is very good and gives you confidence that the lock won't come unattached whilst riding. Speedy delivery too!Highly recommended.

Let's get one thing straight. Despite the name, I would not consider this to be a ultra high security lock. This is more of a deterrent. If you have a very expensive bike and want to leave it somewhere for a long period, get yourself a proper D lock.But what I needed was something light that I could wrap around the bike. No keys to lose and only for family days out to public parks and family trails. So I didn't really need anything that would stand up to an angle grinder since that sort of thief would stick out like a sore thumb next to a kids play area!This lock is perfect. It's long enough to thread through my wife & son's bike too and chain it to a bike post. It curls around the bike frame and secure enough to deter a casual thief.

I bought this for my teenage daughter to lock her bike up at a train station bike store.I’m very aware there’s lots of bike thefts in that area so I need something that’s going to at least give the thieves a challenge.Last year we found two women wearing balaclavas in a city centre and in front of dozens of people were stealing a bike. They had a bag full of keys and were trying every one in the bike lock. When I challenged them they got a pair of bolt croppers out and chopped straight through the chain. We tried to stop them but not one person would help us. They got away unfortunately but it makes you think how you’re going to stop these people. The police knew who they were but the bike was gone when they arrived.So when I was looking for a bike lock a key operated one was a no go. They literally had a cloth bag full of bike lock keys. I also wanted a chain thick enough that would delay them. It’s all black so isn’t readily obvious when it’s in use.This chain is great. It’s a 5 barrel combination lock so pretty unlikely thieves would guess the combination. It’s 12mm chain so thicker than lots of chains on the market. It opens and closes easily and there’s a bracket to attach to your bike frame. No carrying needed.It’s heavy and good quality and does the job you expect it to. If the thieves have bolt croppers then not much will stop them but it’s a decent deterrent. Thieves will go for the easiest to steal so make sure yours isn’t that one and get this on your bike. 100% recommended.

Good lock and a lot stronger than I anticipated for the money. Comes in its own handy bag to store when not in use. Lock works well and is very easy to use.

I am pleased with the lock. I like the extra number in the combination lock as it is one of the few if any I have seen with 5 numbers. It is slightly stiff to use as it is new and I like the way it returns to its curled shape after use. The curled shape in use is a good idea as I have heard that thieves stamp on the locks to break the combination so this helps prevent this. I reason I know this is that with my previous combination cable lock the casing came away at the combination part. Although the combination held the casing came loose so that it looked suspiciously like someone tried to break the lock!The seat attachment is also a good idea as it ensures that I can see instantly if I have the lock with me when I go out on my bike.A good product with some good ideas,
