St Ives Timeless Skin Collagen Elastin Moisturizer Jar 283 g/10 oz

I've used various St Ives products in the past, so when I saw this anti-aging cream for such a low price, I thought why not give this a try? I haven't been using it religiously every day like I should, but I've noticed that my face feels much softer after using it. I have quite sensitive skin on my face and if creams are too chemical-like in ingredients and smell, I can get a slight burning feeling. Definitely no burning feeling with this, nor any stickiness, despite it being fairly thick in texture. I've noticed that after it sinks it, there's no excess left sitting on my skin which can tend to make it feel claggy and clogged, not so with this cream, it just feels nice, fresh and smells gorgeous. As with most facial mositurisers I've used previously, if I've used too much, I'll disperse any excess from my hands onto my elbows and arms as I suffer with eczema on my elbows which normally only clears either with exposure to sun or after a sunbed session. However, the next day I noticed that my elbows were soft and smooth as if I'd never had eczema. Bearing in mind, I've had eczema since childhood and I'm now in my 40s and nothing else moisturiser-wise (such as E45 which is one of the NHS recommended creams for skin conditions) has helped in any way, I was astonished that this cream worked as quicky and effectively as it did. For that alone, I give it five stars as I really think it's something of a miracle. As for the anti-aging side of things, it's too soon to say whether this has helped reduced any lines around my eyes, but it certainly leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth and hopefully with regular use, it will improve my skin. Love the smell and the feel of this product on my skin, very glad it's not greasy or heavy in texture, and my elbows are eternally grateful and thankful :-) Plus it's a massive tub which should last me for approximately six months which really does make it very good value indeed.

Great product, feels very smooth on skin. I use at night and skin feels hydrated in the morning. Large jar will last a long time.

Fab for a budget moisturizer -First bought this after my old moisturizer ran out and my face and I'm on to my 3rd tub now (each tub lasts ~6months for me)Gave 4 stars because tbh the collagen boost is just a gimmick with the active ingredients in such small amounts right at the end of the ingredients list, but it works great as a daily/nightly moisturizer! The scent is also nice - there's definitely a hint of something there, but it isn't overpowering at all.I have oily dehydrated acne-prone skin, and this works great - I even seem to have fewer breakouts using this one than my old one.Absorbs nicely into the skin & leaves it feeling like skin - if you apply too much it does feel like you have a film of something on your skin, but hey that'd probably happen with any moisturizer.I've been using this with a hyaluronic acid underneath & they work great as a pair- I don't feel oily or like I have a layer of product on my skin. This seems to work really well in conjunction with other products - I use the Simple spf30 moisturizer over the top as a sunscreen and there is no pilling of product build up, and my makeup goes on easy peasy. I'm 35 who suffers with dry skin some days and oil skin the next, and to top if off I have sensitive skin, I've noticed fine lines near my eyes and thought oh my God!! as you do, so I looked up loads of creams and this one Stood out with reading up and the Price I couldn't lose anything.First off its not magic so don't buy it thinking it will remove lines for good it helps them minimize and don't stand out as much.What i can say is the cream works best at night when I get up in the morning my skin looks healthy and plump and it does minimize my fine lines and my skin is soft, not oily or dry it stays like that for half the day with no morning application .When applied to my skin is soaks in quick and there is no stickiness. It's nice light creamI would definitely recommend this cream its a very big tube that last ages at a good price. You have nothing to lose in trying it for your self.

It's not a bad cream. Alot for cheap price. But I find it misleading. If you're looking for anti ageing benefits then go elsewhere. Collagen sits on the skin so it's not really absorbing it. It was however keep your face hydrated so there's that. But the biggest issue is Triethanolamine in the product. I didn't know this when I bought it, because after a while I started getting a burning sensation while using this only to find it has an ingredient that causes inflammation for many people. So honestly there's better creams out there.

I am on my 3rd pot of this since discovering it in early 2013. I am 47 and can say... It really works! It contains the magic anti-aging ingredient matrixyl, and it really really does work. It is a massive pot, (think large tub of aqueous cream, and costs almost same.) Usually with anti aging creams / serums, you have to use so sparingly in just the areas that have most lines, NOT this. It is such a massive tub and so cheap, you can use liberally, where ever you need, whenever you need. I now use it down my neck and chest, ridding myself of those annoying cleavage fine lines! As well as face and hands. The only downside is there is no SPF protection in it and it is such a big pot if you travel away, you may want to put some into a smaller pot. All my friends have commented that I look younger and more glowing. My 17 year old daughter has started using it now too and my 13 year old son! Next time I order, it will be 3 tubs at the special deals (about £19) you see on Amazon & Ebay. I recommend you try it, after all what have you got to lose?! Can be used all over body, is absorbed easily and smells delish.
