Google is your best friend. Its very comfy and I would regard ...
Even though it comes without an instructions booklet a quick fiddle with the buttons will reveal their functions. I figured out how to work this watch in a matter of minutes, in the HIGHLY unlikely circumstance that you find yourself stumped, Google is your best friend. Its very comfy and I would regard it as a decent watch for telling the time, as its easy to see in most lights/angles and has an additional blue back light (accessed via the bottom right button). The watch face is also relatively flush with the strap, which is a bungee like, and gives your arm unhindered motion and after wearing it for a few minutes you forget that you put it on. If your hand is hairy and your debating whether to bother, I would advise running a finger under the strap from one side to the other to avoid getting your hairs pulling and also getting your skin pinched. The watch features time/date and an alarm function, a relatively low fuss product that just does the job of watch and for the price, I'd say its a good enough quality for the price.I choose this watch because I set out to find a professional and stylish looking watch and I think I found that very watch.

Resolve tight strap and turn off chime
A great watch with genuine stainless body. The (superb) stretch bracelet is a marvel of engineering, but was much too tight for my wrist. It will not (I believe) slacken without firm action. I was able to perfectly resolve the problem as follows. A piece of wood 50x50mm or 25x100mm (approx) 150mm in length. Wrap aluminium foil or polythene strip (then moistened kitchen roll) around actual watch (to keep it cool). Place watch over piece of wood (as if it was your wrist). Place a pad of moist kitchen roll between wood and actual watch. Hold this contraption in contact with a full on hotplate to heat a part of the bracelet until it is uniformly straw coloured. The tempered stainless steel will be softened and bracelet will be much slacker. To remove straw colour, lightly abrade surfaces of individual bracelet segments with 600p wet and dry abrasive paper. Discolouration will remain on internal surfaces. Critical structural components in the bracelet may have substantially reduced strength following this process. Treating a 3" long section will result in a very substantial slackening, so consider doing a smaller area if less slackening is desired. Don't cool with water as this will re-harden the bracelet. To turn of hourly chime - make sure watch is in normal display mode. Press and hold the "start stop" button (sometimes labelled as "alarm on") until the colon between hour and minutes stays solid. PS moistened chipboard produces less smoke. 13-09-14 My watch hasn't lost a second in 6 weeks (amazing!)The stretch bracelet is (now) sheer perfection.

Stylish watch with great features. May be slightly uncomfortable to those with larger wrists
The watch works perfectly I've been using it for around a week now. I found the strap rather tight however,I am a larger individual (but I don't normally have issues with other watches usually I clip into the middle settings of watches). The buttons and controls of the watch can be a little tricky and I find that the buttons required quite a firm press to activate. But all controls work perfectly.Lots of useful features such as alarm and timer built in. And a light for reading the face in the dark at a press of the lower right button which I find very useful.

Amazing 80's kitsch
Mine arrived yesterday and there's no other word for it but awesome. I'm my late 30's so these things take me back to my youth when I'd browse the Argos catalogue imagining being able to slip such a watch on my wrist. The look on my girlfriend's face when she first saw it however was priceless (don't think she's as big a fan as I am to put it mildly). To be clear though, this is pure 80's cheese. I love catching a glimpse of it's shiny golden awesomness from under my shirt cuff/coat sleeve/etc. I think it would go well with the grey leather jacket Johnny Depp's character wears in the 2nd half of the film blow.Otherwise bracelet doesn't trap as many hairs as I would have imagined (hardly any in fact). Face is easy to read, slim case (so doesn't get caught in shirt cuffs) and waterproof to 30m (i.e. showerproof), so all round a pretty practical watch. As other's have said, no instructions included meaning you have to spend a few seconds working out how to turn on/off the hourly chime. As no-one else seems to have shared how this is done - I believe you press and hold for a second the top right button until you hear a beep. But if you have a bit of nostaligia for the 80 and don't mind people having a strong opinion either way on your watch, get one!

Shame about the resin case
Looks good but is made of plastic resin not Stainless Steel. Backlight is excellent.

Good watch
Very good 80s watch keeps time good and stylish. Waterproof too and lights up when press button. Does what it says on the tin. No need for Bluetooth that is modern watches Bluetooth drains phones. Good shiny stainless steel bracelett. Its a head turner. Back in time 40 years lol

NOT THE CLASSIC WATCH I ONCE HAD
This retro model is nothing like that great watch I had back in the day. The contrast is terrible. Even with the light on this watch is almost impossible to read. If I have to find an ideal angle under a strong light just to read it, defeats the notion of being able to glance at a watch to know the time. And four days into wearing it the glass is cracked. Don't know how it happened. I had coffee with friends today, I wasn't shifting rocks on a chain gang.My last watch, at 3 times the price, never even showed a scratch over years of use. I can't even conclude you get what you pay for because this lower price bought me nothing I can use.(Reviewers talk about the strap being uncomfortable. On my wrist, it was okay. But an okay strap with a bad watch isn't much use.)
