I actually bought this for my yard but it would make a nice gift.It's extremely sturdy with a colorful finish. About a foot tall. It took a little work on my part to bend the flat metal into the faceted sections. Just had to play with it until I was happy with fin placement.I hung it in a tree branch up high enough where no one would walk into it but low enough to see from inside my house. I think it spins a little better being up a bit.On breezy days, it spins. Not fast, but it moves.I put one of those tail spinner/crystal optical illusion gismos under it because the wind spinner was the only way to get the crystal tail spinner to move at all.Overall I am happy with this wind spinner a little more than the skull one I bought earlier this year. However, I am enjoying both.

Very pretty but this is hard to open or fan out. You can’t figure out if you are going to bend it if you press/pull harder or not.
