wow this stuff is good.
I bought this because my bedroom window was very drafty, in the wind and rain you would see the curtains move, I was hoping it would cut out some draft but didn't think it would cut out the noise too, as I could hear the rain hitting the ground outside and the wind blowing the leafs around the ground etc it's blocked all the daft, no more moving curtains and better than that even it's cut out the noise, hearing rain dripping on the window ledge and ground is worse than a bit of daft imo.The bedroom was cold before but now it's noticeably warmer, going from the bedroom to the hallway you can feel the difference, whereas before it was all just cold, it won't mean no more central heating but at least I'm not making it any worse than it has to be now.But it did take me a couple of tries to fit it, the only instructions are about 3 or 4 pictures, they are line drawings so you can't tell what is the frame and what is the window, I ended up sticking it to the frame, next to the original seal the frame already had, this didn't make much difference so I tried sticking it to the window itself, right on the edge, this worked a treat, yes you can now see it when the window is open but it's not very noticeable and the window isn't going to be open any time soon anyway. It stuck better than I thought too, and was very easy to fit in a straight line, luckily I had a tin of alcohol so I gave the frame a wipe with that.Worth every penny.

So far the best I've tried
These are definitely far superior to any of the cheaper products out there. When it comes to sticking things up in a home, you definitely shouldn't compromise on quality. I purchased a cheaper product and when I tried to remove it, it left a sticky residue and came off in chunks. These are super easy to put up and remove and the shape means they fit snugly into the gaps in the frame (instead of just sitting on the outside). Very satisfied, haven't removed mine in over a year and they are still fine.

Fab buy
I'm really pleased with this. Very cheap, and lots of it!! Because it comes with a strip of 3, you can choose the thickness you need. I needed to separate it to a 2 thickness, and a 1 thickness for different parts of the door frame. It was easy to stick on. I actually fitted it without peeling off the brown tape for the sticky bit as it fitted in the gap better (being pushed in with a spoon) and it has worked perfectly. It has formed a perfect seal around my front door and has made a massive difference to the temperature in my hallway now. It used to be quite cold, but now it stays the same temperature as the rest of the house. Wish I'd bought it years ago, when I probably should have! Would fully recommend this product if you need to replace your door seal. Fantastic.

Pro's & Con's
I was initially fairly impresses with the item, although I did notice a couple of points which may make be think more carefully should I need to purchase again.Pro'sThe item has a good thickness which enables it to fill larger gaps than cheaper alternatives. The design works well and sufficiently stops draughts and noise. It's fairly robust yet easy to cut to length with a standard pair of household scissors.Con'sI found that it was often to thick to use, and that it meant the windows didn't always close correctly. Although a cheaper alternative from a high street homeware store didn't have such a problem. There wasn't clear instruction or guidance over the best way around to use it, as it's P shape it's understandably not symmetrical which effects the performance.Despite cleaning the surface and drying prior to application it was very easy to remove, and didn't always stay in place. Some may argue this is in fact a positive as it didn't leave residual marks, but for me it was a hinderance as I kept having to stick it back.

Great for sash windows
Upon moving into my new apartment I realised the sash windows were a bit draughty so after a bit of research I picked this product up.The product is strong, elastic and the sticky side is sufficient to stick directly to most surfaces and long as they are clean and dry. After double applying to my window I have noticed a considerable reduction in draught and am happy with the final result. When I finished my project I had ample supply left over to give to a friend who was having the same issue. One downside, which I over looked when purchasing is that my windows are brown and these are white, which was an over sight on my part.If you have a set of sash windows I'd recommend them. Feel free to ask me anything.

This works.
Having tired old double glazing which altho still looks ok has started to let a few draughts in here & there I was looking for some excluder that would fill the obvious gaps. Had previously tried the foam type stuff but after a while the plastic backing comes away & it looks unsightly. I spied this on my hunt for something else. So glad I found it. It was so easy to put in place & really does work. Absolutely no draughts & it is such a good seal I'm sure it has even cut down noise too. This feels like it will last much much longer than the foam excluder & once in place is invisible. Clear instructions for fitting. Highly impressed & would recommend.

Works well
This tape works well at cutting out drafts. I have used it to seal gaps on our internal garage door and it's remained in place for over 3 years now.It hasn't worked as well on a window, as it peeled off over time and has required renewing, but overall I'm quite happy with the results.
