I have been using this for 4 weeks now. I have suffered with severe postmenopausal vaginal dryness for at least 8 years and tried various treatments including HRT but nothing had really solved it. I never thought sea buckthorn would work but was willing to give it a go after reading the many good reviews here and elsewhere. Within ONE week there was an improvement, and after 4 weeks there is a massive improvement with all my symptoms gone and I feel comfortable for the first time in years. I have reduced my oestrogen treatment with no ill effects and may be able to stop it altogether if this continues going so well. I took 2 capsules twice a day for two weeks, then one tablet morning and one in the evening after that. It works out around £15 a month at first, then around £10 a month once you are on the 2-a-day dose - well worth it to me.I would just say that the 4-a-day dose contains 100% of your daily required dose of vitamin A and the 2 a day contains 50% - so I would be careful not to take any more Vitamin A in supplements while you are taking sea buckthorn or you could go over the recommended limit, which I understand could be bad for your health.I would definitely recommend these to anyone with my problem. I guess you would know within a few weeks if they were working for you. (I cant comment on their effectiveness for dry eyes as I do not have that problem).

My eyes have started to get dry as I am aging, espcially after using smartphones etc. Tried these omega 7 and they have improved the issue a lot. My only complaint is that this oil is very expensive.

As a practitioner of functional medicine for more than 13 years I have spent a lot of time looking out for supplements that really work in treating the wide variety of health issues that affect my clients. The marketplace is a minefield and frankly I would rather put my money down a drain than shop in those health shops that sell ineffectual rubbish in an effort to undercut their rivals. Many mail order suppliers come into a similar category.Occasionally a real gem comes along. I have for a long time been recommending Pharma Nord products to clients. They are not the cheapest but they are of practitioner quality and to be trusted, as they are manufactured to pharmaceutical standards. Many people supplement their omega fatty acids by taking fish oil capsules, generally cod liver oil, but I have never been a fan of these, mainly on the grounds that even the best known makes have been found to be contaminated with carcinogenic compounds from the seas in which the fish have been caught. Also, fish oils do not contain the other omegas, and it is quite difficult to find a supplement that does so omegas 6 and 9 are largely overlooked. A fourth omega, omega 7, is very rarely found. Some good quality research, mainly in Russia and China, has found it to be extremely effective for lubrication of the mucus membranes and for skin health, amongst other benefits. My wife has been taking it for less than a month and already has begun to notice dramatic improvements to her facial skin. She has for many months suffered from over sensitive, inflamed skin on her cheeks and nose. This is now barely noticeable.I shall in future be recommending this product as a good source of all the omegas to my clients.

I originally got these to treat my eyes which constantly stream no matter what time of year it is. Not only have my eyes stopped running but I have noticed something else which I can only put down to these tablets as nothing else in my life or routine has changed. I suffer terribly with sciatica in both legs. I had back surgery 6 months ago, which initially relieved the pain, albeit temporarily. I was told that I might need another operation and the sciatica was getting increasingly worse. After 5 days of taking these tablets I had a relatively pain free day, (for me anyway). I have been taking them for 2 weeks now, I am not totally pain free by any means, but am so greatfull for how much better I feel. Having looked on google, I see that they are used as an anti inflammatory, they appear to work where ibuprofen did not make any difference. I have stopped taking ibuprofen and cocodamol now and am just taking these. Early days, but I am going to continue taking these and have put my second operation on hold for now. I have just bought my second box for my sister in law to try, she has rheumatoid arthritis and will review further when she has been on them for a while.

I first purchased this item some months ago and re-ordered 2 more packs, I suffer from Sorgensons disease (very dry eyes) I had drops from my Doctor but they only gave limited relief. I read about Sea Buckthorn and although skeptical tried them. It took until the end of my first carton of capsules to feel some relief, but I persevered and O.M.G they are amazing, the relief they have given me are worth every penny spent! If you feel they are a little expensive,please ignore the price and just buy them, the relief you will experience is like a magic potion. I also have a very dry mouth and the Sea Buckthorn have given relief to this too, but some of my medication does cause the dryness and I still have a little dry mouth, but the Sea Buckthorn has eliviated this to a bearable level, these little capsules are a wonder, thank you. JUST BUY THEM. But give them time, I have had Sorgenson's some time, so feel the capsules needed 'time' to work fully. They really are a miricale in a capsule that is easy to take.
