An absolute must for your collection! This model was an incredibly enjoyable build and its very very big. If I had the space, I'd buy another! Dwarfs the rest of my models by a long way.Little filling needed here and there on the fuselage, but overall great built and great detail

I have wanted this model for some time and eventually managed to afford one. I wasnt disappointed when it arrived. Lovely kit which I look forward to building. If you have an Airfix Vulcan or Victor Bomber in the same scale 1:72, and you thought them to be Big. Surprise.!. This thing is Massive for 1:72. I Highly Recommend this Kit but be aware that when finished you will have to put it somewhere. My Good Lady was un-impressed at my suggestion to Hang it in the Centre of Living Room Roof.!

Very big model.. If your thinking of buying this kit, work out where your going to display it when it's built. It needs approximately 1square metre of space. Apart from that it's an easy kit to build. I did have a problem getting the wings symmetrical. A tip would be don't glue the wing box in place till your sure of the wing position. I would buy another one if I had the space.

Its the biggest and the most challenging kit I have ever had in my collection. 1:72 is massive comparing to other smaller planes. The quality of parts is top level as always for Italeri. Recommend to everybody who loves having fun with building those beautiful birds.

Look, you're definitely going to need your putty and spend quite a bit of time sanding. Is it a perfect kit? Nope. But if you put some work into it and take your time, it can come out as an awesome build. I have it flying out of my entertainment center and I love looking at it. Decals were pretty decent and any silvering I had I accredit to a rougher paint finish. Still working on that. I didn't actually put any decals on the top because I was worried about them being too detracting, especially if they silvered (obviously I'm not going for total realism). I did buy some pilots to add to the kit because I wanted to build it in the flight position. Apparently it can be tricky getting the wing droop when you try to depict it on the ground. However, closing the wheel wells revealed some pretty big gaps that were hard to hide. I try not to look at the bottom haha. Panel lines are pretty big/deep, but hey, for the regular viewer, I think it really enhances the overall view (even though if it was blown up to scale you could probably step in those "crevices"). The engines were pretty rough to build and attach to the wings and probably took the most work and putty. I used silly putty to help with the camo and it turns out that's a really effective method. I read a review somewhere that the tan and grey camoflauge is bogus, but after a decent internet search, I did find a few B-52's with that camoflauge pattern. Definitely lacking some detail on the exterior, especially when it comes to antennaes and such, but there's a chance to practice your scratch-building skills. Personally, I didn't because there's too many models to build and not enough time to build them with. At the end of the day, I highly recommend this kit - had a lot of fun. I'm still a newbie builder so if I can do it, then you can too (though I wouldn't recommend it as your first or even fifth build, but maybe sometime after that). Good luck!
