Stylish, eco friendly kettle - I love it!
I never thought I'd love a kettle so much. This is the nicest kettle I've ever owned! It is very stylish and practical. You can boil very small amounts of water so it is very economical and eco friendly therefore. There are little markers inside if you want to fill it to boil a few cupfuls of water. The display for filling on the outside is very clear. The on off switch is very accessible. The spout is quite wide for pouring. I would advise being careful if pouting straight after boiling as it can spit a little, but I still give it 5 stars as it is a great kettle. I would recommend it and would buy another when the time comes

Best kettle!
Excellent kettle. It looks fabulous in my cream & coffee kitchen. Boils fast. I don't consider it particularly noisy although others do. I can very easily fill using the spout even though it's advertised as not being easy to do this. The lid fits well and with the large loop handle easy to take off and on. The handle is very comfortable and makes it easy to control how much/fast you pour the hot water out.Due to its very wide base, it cannot boil only one cup of water at a time as such a little water would hardly cover the bottom of the kettle. If you want to be able to do this, a more "jug" style may be better. For me this has to be the best electric kettle I've had in a very long time!

Doing fine so far
We've had this for six months now and it's been robust enough for very frequent use in a busy family kitchen. There's nothing particularly special about it, but it works fine and looks fine.I see the reviews mentioning the lid breaking. We normally fill through the spout so I can't comment about that. Maybe you should avoid if you tend to fill through the lid.I'll update this review if we have any trouble with it.

Excelelent stylish kettle
We already had a Russell Hobbs 20460 Buckingham electric kettle, which is extremely quick and quiet. However we live in a hard water area and it did get clogged up and needed frequent descaling. When we had our new cream kitchen installed my wife wanted a cream kettle and this has proved an excellent purchase. The spout is quite wide with a large mesh limescale trap behind it, and it pours very nicely with a decent flow and doesn't present a scalding hazard, which could not be said of the 20460 Buckingham. It is easy to fill and boils quite quickly provided you use the indicators inside for 1, 2 and 3 cup settings. The best thing is that it looks really sylish.

Great kettle
Bought this with the matching toaster and microwave for our caravan and it’s absolutely terrific. It boils very quickly and has the best pourer I’ve ever come across in a kettle. Once it has boiled I strongly recommend leaving it for a few seconds as if you try & pour the second it has finished boiling it tends to go everywhere, which is something I’ve never come across before. The kettle is easy to use even in my left hand which although being non dominant I have weakness in this hand having RSI but I have no trouble using this kettle with my left hand. All in all a great kettle that I highly recommend to anyone.

It looks nice, appears to be well-made
Although it's far too early to comment on durability, my initial impressions of this kettle are that is all I had hoped for. It looks nice, appears to be well-made, and is easy to fill through the spout (which pours well) instead of using one of those terrible "slow pop up" lids which always fail eventually if not quickly. The limescale filter is easy to remove, clean and replace too.At the price of £32.95 this is a bargain, and quite why it is selling for so much less than some other colours/finishes is hard to understand. You could spend several times this for a similarly coloured "designer" kettle but I doubt that this would necessarily deliver higher quality.

Problem with lid breaking
Have had two of these. It's a nice looking kettle and works well but with both the handle broke away from the lid after a while. Wasn't heavy handed at all, so this looks like a design weakness as the the handle attaches to the lid by a small screw into a narrow plastic cylinder which is not strong enough. Replacement lids aren't available so have had to junk the whole thing, twice. Won't get caught again.

Fiddly filter
Attractive kettle, boils quickly, but one annoying feature is the fact that the little filter at the spout keeps falling off. If the filter is not repositioned, the kettle does not switch off automatically and could boil dry. Replacing it is a bit fiddly and often takes several attempts. It also means one cannot fill the kettle via the spout as this dislodges the filter. I would probably not purchase this model again.
