I bought this review solely based on the reviews. I have been having symptoms of perimenopause and I've been feeling for well for months. Within 7 days I had so much more energy, I'm back exercising and I can think clearly - my brain fog is GONE. I'm so relieved that I found something that works!

Order arrived promptly. Item well packaged.I ordered this to help with:----------------------------------Severe M.E (Weakness, v poor stamina). Long term use of prescribed morphine (leads to low testosterone and low feeling of wellbeing).Summary:-------------It has definitely improved muscle strength, stamina and feelings of wellbeing. However, the change is fairly subtle. Having said that, I have only been on pregnenolone for a few weeks now. Been sick for 15 years, so it will probably take longer to see the full benefits for me, than for someone only sick/run down for a short time.Will happily continue to take them as long as I can afford them.Also found Taurine v calming (bulk buy, powder form from tradeingredients dot co dot uk). Melatonin excellent for sleeping (tho need 21mg <high dose).Dose:--------I am on a budget, so I ordered these 100mg capsules, so that I could open them up, shake out 1/4, and take that each day, instead of the whole 100mg. Most people say that 100mg is far too much for them, especially as a starting dose. This stuff is very powerful, people have made themselves sick for a whole week when they started out on too high a dose.Keeping that in mind, I started out on 1/5th of a cap=20mg every other day. Then slowly, stepped it up to 25mg every day.Timing:---------Always taken in the morning, because it has a wake up effect. Taken at night, it stopped me sleeping.Effects:----------After only a week, I could feel and see effects which I think came from increased testosterone levels. (I used to be on high doses of artificial testosterone gel, so I know what increased T levels does to my body).Stronger muscles, slightly increased stamina. Easier to do exercise. Most of the effects were good, but the spots on my face were not!I also had a feeling of improved wellbeing, both physically and mentally, but mostly mentally. Almost as strong as (in my experience) Prozac was. My focus was better. I found it easier to stay ''in the moment'' instead of constant daydreams about the past and the future.It is too soon to report any long term effects. I used to be prescribed artificial testosterone gel. I liked the good effects, but it also caused me a pretty bad temper (unusual for me), much reduced patience, and a libido that was too strong, because it ended up dominating everything.Interestingly, I have not had any signs of the bad temper, short fuse, nor ridiculously high libido, which I had on the artificial T. Perhaps it is solely due to the artificial T dose being about 250mg/week. Whereas, the Pregnenolone is only 25mg/day. Impossible to do a direct comparison, but seeing as my muscles are only a bit stronger on the preg (compared to much bigger on art T) it's almost certainly a much smaller dose of testosterone that my body is producing from the pregenolone, compared to the artificial T.I still would have thought I would have a bit of a short temper/patience/high libido, but, no, nothing :) So maybe artificial T was causing those side effects?Will try to remember to do an update here in a few months. See if anything has changed.

I bought this in the hope it would help my husband as his memory has become increasingly bad in all areas from short term to long term but as we already tried numerous products aimed to help but didn't I tried these in the hope of better results but they have made no difference but that isn't to say that would be the result with some one else with less severe problems these were a last ditch attempt to help my husband they were easy to purchase they explain what the result could be I think they are better value for money compared to other similar products for the same thing they are easy to use as there is just one tablet not like others where you have to take two types daily for someone with memory problems it's confusing

Great for menopause, after having brain fog, joint pain and feeling exhausted all the time which left me feeling pretty miserable and trying many different supplements which did not work for me and cost a fortune I thought I would give these a try, after doing some research on Pregnenolone, I say to anyone who is put off by the list of side effects to not let it stop you from trying them as if you look into them as I did, side effects have been reported by a few people who have taken too higher dose, and side effects pass after stopping them and causes no lasting effect. You can buy lower doses these are 100mg which I have now halved as the full dose was effecting my sleep as in keeping me awake. I take 1st thing in the morning and the 1st morning of taking these I felt the difference, brain fog gone, loads of energy, graving for sugar which I had also went, joint pain and aches were less and I felt like me again, on day 3 now and no joint pain, feeling of wellbeing is great, wake up feeling refreshed and ready for the day. Only down side is as they are capsules and as I have reduced to half dose I have to open them and shake half the powder out, I put in water or juice, other half left in capsule I take following day, be great in tablet form you could cut in half or 50mg tablet. Just have to find right dose for you.

I saw a slight difference in the 1st week 2nd week a felt good but still hot Flashes and no energy , but then on the 3rd week I had to invest in a multivitamin for premenstrual which is now boosted me up more ... this alone is not enough as us ladys needs other vitamins that this product does not have in them .. plz look for a vitamin that is 4 Premenopausal multi symptom vitamin.. I brought "health and her Pre-menopause multi and together with this works very well .. I feel like a new person but you need to use both

100mg is too strong for a female so I split the capsule over 5 days - I have much more energy, if you are feeling like a pick me up - this stuff is brilliant.

I am 58 years old and have had no periods for about 6 years. I suffered from mild hot flashes during my menopause but nothing more.
