Value for money
Good value for money. Cheap and does the trick. Better than a keyring bottle opener. Relatively sturdy and has handled a variety of different types of bottle tops. As a commoditised product it does the job.

Decent for opening the odd bottles
I bought this bottle opener because I'm a big lover of rosé and ordered Kopparberg's rosé cider. When I received it, I completely forgot that they come with bottle caps and didn't have an opener.The Stalwart J379 crown bottle opener arrived in a little air-tight bag. It is easy to use and is small enough to be tucked away in the cutlery drawer without getting in the way (it's approximately 9.5cm/3.7inches). It's sturdy but the edge of the underside is a bit rough - if you're only opening the odd bottles here and there, it does the job for a very good price. You may want to spend a little more to get a nicer grip handle, but it is just a bottle open at the end of the day.I'd recommend this bottle opener if you don't need it daily, otherwise get a comfortable one with a soft finish.

Quality little opener
Seems to be a good little bottle opener that is easy to use. I've already opened about 50 bottles with it and it looks as good as new.I was a little annoyed that it came with a barcode sticker stuck onto it and it peeled off leaving a sticky residue over the handle. It took quite a bit of cleaning to remove the residue.

Brought 2 for a party both of them failed.
The openers look ok, when tried again standard UK bottles they did not fit nor work and both were biffed out after 1/2 hour. A waste of money.

Not over complicating the simple.
I find companies tend to over complicate the simple. Sometimes they get it right - and successfully innovate (like Joseph Joseph).But here, we have a bottle opener. Cheap, cheerful, and solid.No frills. No fancy attempts at redesign. Just - a bottle opener.I recommend it, and would buy another if needed.
