Hope these are sturdy for the long haul. No directions for use were included in the pkg.Once figured out, they were easy to use.Great for people with speech issues (ex. after stroke) for getting their ideas across if a therapist or family members records what the persons likely want to say. The persons can use the colored buttons to get across the ideas they want to convey.Record button on the side would have been a better design than underneath the button because it would be good for the person with a speech issue to have the button stationary.

Keep commands simple tho...the quality of the recording is not great but should do the trick with training

The media could not be loaded. It took a bit of follow through to get my dog to push the buttons (she preferred to chomp them to make them activate) but it was hours of fun beginning the training and she was so worn out at the end of the day she slept like a sweet toddler after they pass out from the zoomies. We started with two words: Eat and Treat. We added Outside and Pet Me (surprisingly her favorite and fastest to learn). So by the end of our first day she had 4 words. I needed to adjust my volume and tone to make sure they sounded natural and right and that we could hear them when they were on the carpet but that’s a really simple thing to do. They don’t come with a training manual, or any set up directions, but it’s pretty self explanatory: hold down the record button, when it beeps once start recording, let go, it beeps twice to indicate you’ve recorded. Push the colored button to play the sounds. There are also no indicators/stickers to label the buttons so I just wrote on them in sharpie. You can “erase” the sharpie with Magic Erasers if you want to reuse the button for another word. I will be ordering more of these the more she masters words!

I was excited to receive these buttons and was not disappointed with their quality and quantity. The only issue is that my Chihuahua is scared of them. I think it's because she is so small compared to the buttons. I even tried putting treats on top of them and placing her paw on them myself. She is a very timid dog, so I guess they just aren't the right fit for her. Nonetheless, they are still a great product and I highly recommend them.

The volume is very low, so have to be beside the button to hear it. One button did not work, (it cut off the instruction,) and I can't record over it. I should have just started with a 4 pack.

I used these to record different bird sounds. For a young children's library program. We did an indoor bird watch with pictures and these buttons. The kids had a blast. Clear recording, easy to use and they hold up very well. They would work great in a classroom setting too. Make sure you buy the batteries for them.

I have been using these for a few weeks now with my now 12 week old puppy. He pickeed up the concept right away and we are up to 6 buttons now. I plan to add more over time. They are easy to use for him and batteries seem to last. No batteries included. Not capable of charging and run off 2 AAA batteries each unit. Highly recommend and if your pup is like mine the. you're going to have to limit the use because he is pressing them consistently now. Short recording span. You get one word each. Pretty perfect for things like potty training to have one near the door and recorded "outside" and he uses it often. Makes it so much easier. You will love it.
