simple to install and use. The longevity of screw as a lock questionable but I use a piece of stiff wire instead.All components, screws included are stainless steel. The lock bar is 1/8" thick.

This latch is made from heavy gauge stainless and is very nicely finished on the edges. It is a breeze to install and works great. The only negative and it's not a big one is that the locking screw is not secured with any mechanism and so can easily fall out when the latch is being opened. This may be particularly difficult if you are installing on an outside building because the locking screw is not very large and finding it on the ground is a task.

This latch is made from very thick metal and is really sturdy. I don't use the center pin thing and I think it's a little useless unless you were using it to keep small hands from opening things. The included screws were good to use and it feels like it will last. I just wish it came with a template to use for installation because that would make it so much easier than holding it up.
