Loved it on bit tricky but take your time don’t try and hurry with two of us we eventually had a very good result.

This stuff is stellar. There are a lot of bad shelf papers out there, but this brand lets you pull up mid-installation to fix mistakes. The paper backing comes off without a big argument and is fully marked with a handy measurement grid. For a smooth install, pull the paper backing off a little bit along one complete side, then smooth the paper down little bits at a time while gently pulling the backing away. I find that using something flat and soft (a square leather coaster, a stack of sticky notes, or the binding of a leather bound bible) works great for smoothing up and down the paper as you slowly pull off the backing. As other reviewers have said, if you get stuck with a big bubble that you can't scoot to an edge, use a pin to pop it and it will help you flatten it down. If you're a perfectionist, pick a patterned paper, like the blue rustic boards, because more complex patterns will hide a lot of imperfections.I have a black kitchen table which was great when it was a table, but which has become one perpetual "I haven't dusted in the last five minutes" guilt trip now that it's being used as a TV stand. Black furniture constantly shows dust, so I got this nifty looking rustic blue board pattern to cover the top of my table and silence the dust. It looks fantastic and I see no dust now. Also keeps the table and TV cooler by reflecting heat much better than black does. We're people on a budget, so I DIY whenever I can, and that means using the long board of a broken piece of furniture to serve as a nice long shelf in my living room. I papered that puppy, too, which not only stops concerns about moisture soaking into the wood and making it swell, but it matches my TV table. I was so jazzed I bought a second roll, because the price is fantastic given the quality. We have this large window in the top of our front door which A) compromises our privacy and B) gets all freaky at night when the light in the close outside keeps flicking on and off at random moments. Yep, I papered that too. Now I can walk down my hallway in total privacy and the freaky light is gone. Fantastic. We have a ginormous super king bed stuffed into a tiny bedroom so the only kind of "nightstand" I can get in there is what's meant to be a narrow shoe rack. I papered those shelves as well, which gives them a great moisture barrier for my diffuser and water bottle, plus it looks way classier than the original white which stained very easily. As I write this review, I'm trying to think of more things I can paper because I love this stuff. You could easily wrap this paper around a jar for a pen cup or a cardboard box for some classy looking storage. So if you're looking for a good moisture barrier or just want to make your mismatched furniture look coordinated, I'd highly recommend this company's paper products.

Patience was needed bcus my husband put them on the stair risers, they look fab.Adhesion is definitely good with them
