The product was shipped to me very quickly and well packaged. I am a novice saxophonist and this is my first sax . So I did not know what to expect To insure that the sax was in proper working order. However after about three weeks playing the sax and making good progress, I realise that the lowest notes C#, B and B flat could not be played. After checking on YouTube ,I discovered that the bottom ports we’re not sealing correctly . You can check this by shining a light down the bell of the horn and closing the lower ports and if light is escaping from those portis because they are not sealing correctly and therefore you cannot produce the lowest notes . I am in discussions with the seller to see whether they can send a new one or if I need to send it back and get a refund .

I bought the sax in october, and have been playing it a few months now. It is of a very good quality with an amazing tone.The notes work with ease. It is so so good for its price. It comes with a reed, cleaners such as a cloth and pipe cleaner.

AMAZON service for delivery was perfect. The SAX is very pretty and I think it is worth the price. However, there were no instructions or a manual with the Sax, so I emailed Ammoon for such info and yet I have had no response from them.Although, the Sax is functional but be prepared for some additional costs for improvements:- No instruction was provided with the SAX.- The warranty card inside says read this manual (what manual?) and contact, [email protected] for support (what support?). I have emailed the support but I have had no response yet !- Could not get a peep out of SAX first due to:- the Reed is not suitable for a beginner (strength provided =3 so had to buy new reeds of strength= 2) and now it is much better.- the strap provided is of poor quality ( I have to buy a new padded one)- Mouse piece is functional but not of high quality (I have had to buy a Yamaha alto 4C for £31) and waiting to see if this improves the quality. I understand from others that it will make a big difference.I will let you know if I hear from the support section of Ammoon but I am not holding my breath !Otherwise, so far so good.

This is superb value for money . The instrument is a quality construction . What is missing though is a set of assembly instructions . It took some time to discover that there were small polystyrene blocks holding certain keys apart so that they would not be damaged in transit . These are not readily visible and we thought there was something wrong with the instrument as it could not be played . We were thinking of sending it back when the penny dropped . The plastic mouthpiece has the normal cork joint where it fits into the instrument . It would have been nice if a stick of the cheap cork grease could have been provided with the package . Apart from these small niggles this is a proper quality instrument and not a toy

I am very happy with this saxophone. I was a bit worried after reading some of the reviews, but I’m very happy. The only thing I did do was take the advice of others and bought a Yamaha mouth piece as the one that it comes with is not the best ‘sound’ when used. I also bought new reeds and it sounds lovely. I play clarinet and always wanted a saxophone and love the design of this one, a little different from the plain old brass sax! A little different to the clarinet but with practice, I’m sure I’ll be playing it just as well as the clarinet! Love it !! Would recommend to others...

Being a complete beginner, i went with somewhat of low expectations to this. I mean... buying a chinese saxophone at Amazon? Yeah, sure. So, i wasn't expecting anything.I received the product super early, even with this whole virus thing. I started immediatly practicing. After 3 weeks practicing, i hit a wall: The sax can't play High C and low C, B and B Flat. Ironically, one of the reviewers already said this. Mouthpiece is also very mediocre and the reeds are horrible.The sax is pretty and has a good design finish. Shame for all the mechanical problems.Edit: Changed the rating from 2 stars to 3. Reason - Low C, Low B and B Flat ARE totally playable. I was just not being patient. I still can't play High C because of this Sax being 3 stars - The mouthpiece makes it difficult to reach hard notes and the reeds (strength 3) are absolutely horrible. Changed to Rico reeds (2.5 strength) and it was like magic, all of a sudden i could play hard notes immediatly.

Beautiful and, if playing solo, absolutely gorgeous. Easy to play and nice tone. However, when put together with the orchestra, plays really out of tune! Cannot push mouthpiece on far enough to go up the semitone needed. Not sending it back, though. It's too pretty! Hoping the cork ages enough to get it working eventually.

Great quality sound and lovely design. I've been learning and playing this saxophone for around 9 months now as a total beginner and have found it delivers exactly what I wanted.If I were a beginner again, I would buy this saxophone again as it is not too expensive but great quality.
