Folding guitar floor stand
Light weight. Sturdy stand. Does exactly what I wanted it to do. No longer leaning guitars against the wall, where they could be knocked over. Great value price.

Pretty good for the price.
So Amazon tells me I first bought these 3-4 years ago. They have been very good and were a very reasonable price. Most of the others frames I looked at seemed to be exactly the same as these, with foam in the same places, made of the same stuff, but more expensive, so I went for these. I have since bought a few more and I have a cheap but heavier electric guitar and electric bass on them too with no problems. Some of the frames are slightly unbalanced (they rock very slightly) but I have never had any problems with any of my guitars looking like they will fall over. I have a few of these for my acoustic guitars and for the guitar I use the most (it is never in it's case, it's always on this stand) I can see that the foam covering for the bits that hold the guitar, is now beginning to deteriorate to the point that there are a few holes appearing at the pressure points. So I guess I'll have to wrap something soft round it soon to protect my guitar.I would also say that there is a mark left on the guitar from the (foam?) area that the back of the guitar, rests on, on the A frame. You can wipe it off, but I would make sure you regularly clean your guitar (give it a wipe down) just as a precaution against the mark becoming permanent in any way. My guitar has a satin finish and it doesn't seem to have done anything to that. The other guitars I have are in soft carry cases (the rucksack type) and there does not seem to be any wear on those guitar stands, but they do not get taken off and put back on the stand very much at all.As I said I have bought more of these since buying the first ones in 2014. If I ever have more than one guitar out at a time which has a lot of use I will try and replace it back in the stand more gently, and see if that prolongs the life of the foam on the holding arms.

Does the job well
I bought this guitar stand as I wanted to have my guitar out in the open and on hand - more chance that I would pick it up and play it rather than it being hidden away in a cupboard somewhere. I am glad I did.PROS:✓ Very robust and solid build.✓ The neoprene padding protects the guitar✓ Folds down if needed✓ Fits both acoustic and electric.CONS:Being steel – it is a little heavy – but this could also be seen as a positive.I would recommend this product without hesitation – it does the job very well, and I have picked up my guitar at least twice a week since I have had it out of the cupboard where it was gathering dust.

Good Guitar Stand
I have bought a number of these stands to use both in my music room and around the house. They are good quality stands at a reasonable price. I can highly recommend them
