Doesnt really do anything, cards get stuck or don't move at all, super loud, just use a manual one with a crank. Even that doesn't shuffle great. Returned.

This has very mixed reviews, and I can see why.Ultimately, it is a cheap unit with cheap materials and cheaply put together.It doesn't work as well on older, bent, tatty cards, but certainly does (most of the time) with newer / looked-after cards.The central 'button' (protruding tab at the bottom beneath the card tray) operates two independent motors. If pushing the CENTRE of the button/tab, both motors operate at the same time.However, press slightly to one side or the other and you'll have one motor running more than the other (or one not at all), meaning they'll be more cards pulled from one side than the other.So, press (firmly) right in the middle, and that eliminates many complaints other users have.The rubber 'cogs'/rollers will lose grip after a while (weeks/months of use). Cleaning these with mild soapy water, or printer roller/platen cleaner every so often will mean the shuffler will work better for longer.It's quite noisy, but also quite quick.Sometimes it throws cards from the feed hoppers out away form the centre, not too often though.I used some NiMh (rechargeable) batteries and found the battery covers wouldn't fit as the battery compartment was too shallow. When tried with some cheap Poundland alkalines, the covers fitted fine - your experience may vary!Running a pack of cards through the shuffler once or twice, cutting the pack in between, does quite a reasonable job at a 'shuffle'.If you find this review useful, please consider clicking on ‘YES’ below, thanks!

I ordered this to help shuffle cards where the game played has a tendency to clump batches of the same type together so a shuffling aid seemed ideal. The first sample arrived promptly despite the Christmas rush but was wired faultily and one side ran permanently (switch had no effect) while the other side was dead. Returned for exchange without a problem to Amazon but second unit has a different fault: LHS works fine with the switch depressed but RHS jams so at most one card is dispensed. I tried manually coaxing it through several cycles but no improvement. I noted some of the gears had mould debris still on the teeth. It is cheap but it should at least work. The LHS works well so if both sides were working I guess it would do the job if the supplier had better quality control.This is the first time in over 10 years I have had two faulty samples from Amazon.

It shuffles the cards ok. The mechanism is quite noisy but reasonable. There are some sharp plastic edges - particulary on the battery compartment covers. We're using it for UNO which is a double pack of cards so it suits well.

LA verdad que al ver los comentarios no apostaba nada po esta maquina, pero mi hijo que esta enganchado al UNO me tenia loco con lo de mezclar mal jas cartas...Asi que decidimos apostar, hace su cometido y las mezcla, eso si hace bastante ruido, la calidad de materiales se ve sencilla, pero no se puede pedir mas...
