Excelent
This is wonderful for split skin in the cold weather and minor cuts. It helps them heal so much faster. Depending on where the cut is (i.e. if it's on skin that's subject to a lot of flexing) it does need re-applying every now and then. If you end up with a very thick coating that peels it's a simple matter to use it fairly liberally so that it melts what's already there and then quickly dab it with a tissue to get back to bare skin and apply a thinner layer. It adheres best if there's no cream on the area but if there is, apply some and dab it off with a tissue a couple of times to remove the cream. It's clear when applied so not too obvious but it has a slight shine to it.Far less visible than a sticking plaster and very much more effective. It's better than the sprays (in my opinion) because you can control where it goes much better and less gets wasted. The only (minor) downsides are that once it's opened you have to close the lid tightly to ensure it stays liquid and if used on a fresh cut it can sting for a short time - it's not terribly painful or long lasting but it is a bit uncomfortable.I find once opened, if closed quickly and firmly when you've finished using it, it remains usable for around 12 or 18 months before it gets too thick and dried out.

Brilliant find
I found this by chance whilst trying to find a plaster alternative after slightly burning my finger right right in the crease. Plasters kept falling off or getting wet and wasn't allowing the wound to heal properly. I remember seeing a "spray plaster" in one of the major high street chemists so I knew there was something like this on the market. After searching on Amazon and reading the very positive reviews, I decided to purchase it (for less than £5, if it was rubbish, then I wouldn't have spent too much!). It was indicated to arrive 3 days after purchase, so in the meantime, I did go out and buy the "spray plaster". Although it worked, I found it rather messy. With a spray, I really couldn't direct it to the wound or how much I wanted to put on, but it did its job for the 2/3 days before the Germoline one arrived. I found it super easy to use, much easier than a spray, because you can direct the brush right onto the wound without going anywhere else! Yes, it stung a tiny bit when you first brush it on, but it's not unbearable and subsides after a couple of minutes. From first application to my wound healing took 3 days. I've now got it in my bathroom cabinet should I need it again in the future! I would 100% recommend this excellent product.

Paints like runny nail varnish, stays like a second skin
This stuff is really effective with grazes, small cuts and scrapes etc. It is extremely effective if used for it's intended purpose. It is highly resistant to water and damage, within reason, if your an IT type like me then it'll last, if your a rig worker or in a job with a lot of hard graft then it might start to show wear and tear fairly quickly.Applying this stuff is like super runny nail varnish and smells like a chemical factory in a bad mood on a hot day, the only reason I removed a star is for that and even then I feel like I'm being unreasonably harsh given the fact I couldn't create a better formulation and the smell lasts all of 20-30 seconds in total, delicate noses might fair worse.Overall I like it, it's not a replacement for plasters, it's just another tool in the box. Sometimes you have a small scrape that is awkwardly shaped for a plaster (this is good for that), sometimes the scrape is in a funny area like elbows or between fingers (this is good for that) and sometimes plasters are a real pain to replace all the time especially for small cuts (this is single application, it wears away as the cut heals, saving multiple plasters).

Fantastic on dry broken skin on thumbs
I've had some really rough, hard, dry, cracked skin on the edges of both thumbs for the best part of a year. Nothing I did seemed to cure it, trimming and intense moisturising just delayed it coming back. On the brink of going to see my Chemist / GP I thought I'd give this a try. I have applied it over the course of a few weeks now, and I can honestly say my thumbs are pretty much back to normal, with nice pink skin. It lasts a few days each time, and I give my skin a break for a couple of days and re-apply. Can't recommend this stuff enough. Negatives are, it smells like nail varnish so be careful.

Works a Treat!
I would highly recommend this as a replacement for using a generic plaster.Since using it, we have consistently used it instead. Seems a bit expensive, but worth it once you have it.

Removed my skin tags
I bought this to remove skin tags and it worked within four days so I'm delighted. The tags were too small to use the tying method, and I didn't want to risk the other slightly "shady" skin tag remedies, so after some research, I decided to try this liquid bandage. It stung at first and it's a bit awkward using the plastic spatula, but I applied it twice a day to my neck. It's a bit disconcerting to see the tags slowly turning black, but at least I could see them shrinking. The bandage dries clear, but does go flaky.I'm genuinely shocked that it worked and will definitely get more if I get other skin tags. It feels nice to have smooth skin again, with no scarring.

Liquid plaster
This stuff doesn't wash off easily, I used it on my hand and it survived several hand washes with soap. It's basically like clear nail varnish - it even smells like nail varnish. You paint it on with the brush attached to the bottle lid, leave it to dry, and it forms a transparent layer over the cut area. It does sting if you apply it to an open cut (so be careful of using it on children). Then it starts to peel off after a few days (depending where you use it, how often you wash, etc. I assume). I'm not sure how much protection it offers to the wound. Obviously you only use it on very minor injuries, and it does keep dirt out and avoids soap, etc. irritating the cut. And for that it is good as some places (hands especially) it's impossible to get a plaster to stick, and it certainly lasts longer than the regular plasters I had been using.
