The stainless steel is cosmetic only and very thin - this leaks from the seam and bottom due to gaps, and isn’t made for holding liquid. There’s an inner plastic container for the liquid that only goes part of the way up. When I put the brush in it doesn’t reach all the way into this holder, making it unhygienic in addition to a poor design, as the brush is only partially covered. In addition, the internal holder has to be dropped in, which is difficult with bleach water, and removal is just turning upside down and letting this holder slide out, getting bleach/liquid all over the inside of the stainless steel, which will just leak this out.All in all, definitely would not recommend.

This it was cheap and cheerful. Easy to assemble, but after a few months, it is already rusting and tarnishing. Its still perfectly usable, but it isn't very aesthetically pleasing and not too long from now i will start to worry about hygiene as it will becoming increasingly difficult to clean as it further corrodes.I guess the old saying is correct, "if you buy cheap, you'll buy twice"Great for students, people who have not long moved into their first house and money is tight, and particularly hygiene orientated crack-dens.

This is a simple toilet brush and holder but it is the same as the one I bought and have used solidly for the last 12 years. I fully expect this one to be as long-lasting. The only reason for the replacement was I broke off the brush from plastiic handle My fault!It stayed shiny and corrosion-free all the time. Excellent value and looks good too!

This is cheap, tinny and, poorly manufactured. It's not stainless steel either. The bottom isn't sealed so any liquid from the brush that runs down the side, missing the plastic cup insert, will leak out on to the floor/carpet. To call this a 'premier houseware' is a very poor description

Really pleased with this when purchased but within a couple of weeks it has started rusting at the base and leaves a rusty ring mark on the floor. I imagined this would be made of stainless steel but obviously not!

I bought 3 of these. BIG MISTAKE. They are incredibly flimsy. They are already showing signs of rust around the base after 2 weeks use. They leak. The brush frequently comes untwisted from the handle which then means you have to reach down into the container to get the brush to twist it back on. Not a pleasant passtime. Recommend that you avoid this item and pay a bit more for a better-made product.

I feel so disappointed. It seems there is no rust protection at all in this product and it leaks. I had to put kitchen towel under it to protect the floor. I really cannot recommend this item.

This comes in three parts which you assemble yourself. Unfortunately when using this for the second time the handle broke at the point where the lid attaches to the handle. It's made out of plastic so it's not very durable.And I wasn't exactly using that much force. Hoping to get a refund and then I'll go for another brand.
