Fast, quiet and low cost - ideal!
No problems. When connected to a SATA 3 port, very fast (I'm getting 100+ MByte/sec transfer rate) and quiet as you like.

As expected...
Hasn't broken yet(...) and seems to be working OK. A tad noisier than my old dead 5400rpm drive but this is not a problem for me.

Great product
A very good product. Worth the price. It does boot up windows slow but it's not that important. Still worth buying

Lasted only 16 months
Bought in February 2022 and installed in a PC, but totally failed in July 2023. Not abused.Only £30 at the time, but really should have lasted much longer.

Quiet, fast, brand new
I hesitated before I bought this drive as there were a few reviews claiming that they had been sent a previously used drive. I have only had the drive installed for a few weeks so cannot comment on reliability yet, but so far I'm very pleased. The drive I received was sealed in an anti-static bag, had a manufactured date of about 11 months ago, and when I ran the SMART diagnostics they reported that the drive had not been powered up previously. It is also very quiet.

Failed within months of light usage, Toshiba will not honour warranty. Avoid!

Does the job
Great hard disk. Virtually silent, people's that are noisy must either have been unlucky and got a bad disk or not seated it right.Remember to buy a sata cable as this is OEM so doesn't include one.

Du jamais vu à un tel prix !
12 € le disque + petits frais de port... Du coup, j'en ai acheté 6 + un dock de connexion vers l'ordinateur. 3 To de stockage pour moins de 95 €... Qui dit mieux ?

Lo usato per sostituirne uno malfunzionante. Ottime prestazioni come meccanico anche se ora i meccanici vanno bene solo come backup...

Toshiba vs WD
Die WD https://www.amazon.de/dp/B00D74G7I0/ war mir erheblich zu laut. Tiefen Brummen plus deutliche metallische Zugriffsgeräusche. Deshalb noch diese Toshiba bestellt und sogleich die WD als/mit Backup in Frührente geschickt! Diese ist wirklich deutlich leiser - in meinem selbstgebastelten HD-Käfig aus Filz und Silikon (mit Fan davor) nicht mehr zu hören. Sie ist zwar fast 10 Grad wärmer als die WD im unbelüftetem Breich, mit Fan aber wieder etwas kühler (33°C), was auf eine bessere Wärmeableitung hindeutet. Für 35,-€ ein echtes Schnäppchen - zudem die schnellste und leiseste HDD die es gibt!

Unfassbar sowas. Die Leute denken leider nicht mehr nach.Das die Platte schon 5 Jahre alt ist ist ja das eine. Aber ohne Polsterung einfach in einer Papiertüte geliefert geht gar nicht.Diese Platte braucht man nicht anschließen.
